Loved Drogba as he was the antithesis of everything Barcelona stood for back then. The 2012 semi final second leg is one of my favorite games ever. Bayern beating Man Utd in 2010 CL QF - the Robben volley. Man U should have been home and dry but blew a two or three goal lead, Raphael fucked it with a red card. Rooney was on fire that season and they had lost Ronaldo and Tevez that summer so he was really stepping up. Remember him scoring in the first leg and then severely injuring himself later on that game. Also liked Valencia proving a lot of people wrong and contributing when people thought he wasn't good enough to play for Man U. Always want an English/British(so even the two Rangers defeats hurt as did the Celtic one, what a player Henrik Larsson was to take that team to the final and score two goals in it) team to win the European comps and Man U probably would have won that year - Lyon in the semi, Inter in the final. Genuinely can’t understand why any Newcastle fan would be gutted at a man united loss

Wew, what kind of freak have we got on our hands here You preferred Chelsea to peak era Barca and also wanted Man Utd to win a game Wasn’t expecting this kind of deviant thinking from one of our own. Astroblack Posted Sunday at 13:54 Share Posted Sunday at 13:54 (edited) I watch the Premier League week in, week out, and know all the players. Of course I want them to win in Europe. The better the English teams do, the better the national team does. that Barcelona team is is full of WORLD CUP winners. I believe 9 out of 11 of them. That Bayern Munich team is full of World Cup winners. The Man U and Chelsea team with Rio, Terry, Lampard, no world cup winners, no international acclaim. You guys are the weird ones to me liking seeing Sevilla win seven Europa Leagues, Real Madrid win 15 Champions Leagues and then watch Spain win the World Cup and Euros. Go cheer on Spain the World Cup then. I like the Premier League, I like our style of football. As good as that Barcelona team was, they used every trick in the book, they were no angels. Chelsea were robbed that night in 2009, it truly was a disgrace. Edited Sunday at 13:57 by Astroblack

I watch the Premier League every week, know all the players, all the storylines. I don’t want Chelsea or Man U to win domestically but in Europe, I do. The Spanish sides won the CL and Europa in 2009-2012 and their national teams won the World Cup and Euros. Bayern and Dortmund got to the final of the CL in 2013 and Germany won the World Cup in 2014. Our English sides are beginning to get in CL finals and England are getting closer to international success with a semi, and two finals under our belt. No, no and thrice, no Unless their win would directly affect NUFC in a positive way, no Newcastle fan is EVER allowed to want Manchester United to win ANY game To be honest, I’m flabbergasted at your admission Edited Sunday at 16:19 by bobbydazzla

I’m hoping Real lose every game they play, Fiorentina Perez traps his bollocks in a folding seat and Bellingham gets knocked out by a spider cam. They’re the pits, the Francoist Super League instigating shitbags.

I support Newcastle but in Europe, I want English teams to win so England have a stronger chance of winning a major. The proof is there with Sevilla, Real and Barca, Milan in the early 2000s and their World Cup triumph in 2006 and Parma winning the Uefa cup in 1999 with a lot of those players in the 2006 WC winning team. I watch the Premier League week in, week out. I don’t watch La Liga or Seria A. I have an emotional attachment to PL sides, sorry, I just do.
bobbydazzla Posted Sunday at 16:26 Share Posted Sunday at 16:26 English teams have won and lost plenty of CL finals since the 90’s England still haven’t won anything on the international stage Maybe we’ve let too many of them pesky forrins play for our club sides
