So if they dig in and refuse to meet our valuation, we potentially have a stroppy scouser on our hands, with a history of acting up to force a move. But the window doesn't open till 15th June, so I assume deals can be agreed ahead of the WC start (11th June) for players participating, but not formally signed off/confirmed till it opens?
