Have they actually split, I know she's gone back but is it a long distance thing ? Think the ban must have really hurt her - she had Sandro at 10/1 to be player of the year

Yeah she was dragging him all round the north east with a big smie on her face, really threw herself into the move at the time. He himself looked like a fish out of water in them early days. Lush Vlad
Thoughts? I was watching in the pub, so never great for analysis. But it was almost like he was trying to do too much. In a good way, though. He was popping up everywhere and trying to force the issue and certainly adds a bit of pace and dynamism to our team. Did give it away cheaply a few times. It nearly cost us at one point. But as I said in the Trippier thread. Everyone was at it yesterday. Which could be seen as a positive for them with how they swarmed the ball and a negative for us with how sloppy we were at times. Elliottman
Thought he was very good for about 60 minutes then it seems to become very noticeable when he’s tiring, few sloppy balls and he’s taken off. Guess it’ll take a little while to get fully up to speed for the 90 minutes.
Menace
Thought he was tidy to be honest, looking forward when he's up to gear
BoSelecta
Hard to put your finger on it but he looks like he will be the bollocks whilst clearly not yet there.
Hanshithispantz
He would have been outrageous for us in the 4th season with how quick he can ping a first time ball.
Ronson333
Wouldn’t have minded him and big Joe swapping positions in the first half for a bit, because the through ball to Barnes was on a few times and we messed it up.
Boey_Jarton
A few sloppy passes yesterday but some encouraging signs that we have a lot more control in midfield with him in there. He is some excellent attributes - always available for the central defenders, , constantly moving into space, recycles possession, whilst also being a tenacious little fucker. Actually thought Longstaff looked surprisingly sharp and fresh when he came on so the competition helps in that context too.
Smal
think he looks understandably rusty with the ball but I really like how he’s constantly trying to make things happen, either it be through movement, winning the ball back or first time passes. Confident he’s going to be really good for us once he gets some match fitness. Next step for him would be getting himself into the goalscoring positions that Longstaff constantly gets himself into from that position. He will need to contribute goals for us. He isn’t a RCM - he’s at his best in a double pivot - had his best seasons in those positions - We are not utilising him properly - he keeps the ball ticking, covers the RB, has a fantastic engine and is tactically brilliant - that’s his role

They seem transferable to an 8.

My point was alluding to a formation change for us - in the sense we have a perfect player to slot alongside Bruno - I really don’t like how our midfield is shaped Sandro is good enough to play as a 10 also - he has everything
Ginola14
a bit underwhelmed from what I've seen from him so far - struggles to get involved as much as Bruno and Joe, not sure he'd get into our rival top 6 sides? maybe lacks some confidence and still adjusting to pace English football needs to cut out the sloppy passes especially in dangerous areas, could've easily lost the game yesterday because of that leading to their one chance he does have a lot of qualities though and I still have high hopes for him here
Ikon
His passing was sloppy without doubt. But most of our players wasted many balls. Overall I’m not even sure how many times we lost possession.
Ginola14
think he was hauled off shortly after the one that led to DCL chance probably planned but possibly Howe was being ruthless there and had had enough

I'm getting a bit concerned how long it's taken him to shake off that rustiness tbh. We had it last season before the ban, and that was somewhat understandable. But he's been training with us for a year now, and he seems to be playing barnstormers for Italy. There's definitely a player in there, but he doesn't seem to fit our style since day one. Lotus
After 10 starts I expect to see him settled and performing well. He moves very well to create space for our other midfielders. Would like to see JL and Bruno do the same. Opens up the pitch for the player who ends up getting it.

He’s looked our second best player already.

Ikon
I think the best for both him and Bruno would be to have an option in front of them. An attacking midfielder that isn’t too far away ahead of them. A player they can play one two’s with at times. This would also not force Isak coming way too deep as he often does. We need more playing depth in the centre. Myleftboot
I think he prefers to play in the middle of the pitch but he’s pushed over onto the right and Bruno’s the main man in the middle.
