Watch him today, and he's not the class they need imho (neither is Gordon) and they'll outgrow him. So you wouldn't make a trade (without cash) Gordon - Semenyo ? Semenyo now, is not the Semenyo at the start of the season. He's clearly operating at the level Citeh hoped he would be. Still not pulling up trees right now, like he was when he joined. Start of this season swap Gordon for Semenyo? Naa. End of this season, aye. But Semenyo is now a £90m+ player due to who he players for, recent move and recent fee. You yourselves have criticized him a lot this season but also in previous years when the whole team played well. Now suddenly it seems like Gordon has become Kvaratskhelia...we're talking about a player who's been inconsistent in seven of his ten games, decent in two, and maybe the best player on the pitch in one. If I have to spend 70, I'd spend it on Hall who plays poorly in one but is excellent in the other nine.

Old saying, a player is worth what someone is willing to pay (unless there is a release clause) and there will be a few teams wanting Gordon at the reasonable rate of £75m. NUFC have had a shit season. Players will leave beacuse of it, but we don't need the money, and, there is more to it than any individual. Gordon's stock hasn't depleted this year, but hasn't kicked on. We'll get £75m, everyone wins. I wouldn't sell Hall for £130m+. Same for Miley. You got to remember the fee we payed to Everton also. Hes now more than twice the player he was when we bought him. 50m is a minimal profit for us. Chris L
I know it doesn’t usually mean anything. But when he went off. He wasn’t doing a farewell style clap to the fans as he walked off. More a “normal” walk off if that makes sense. Like I said doesn’t usually mean anything. But often those who know they leaving tend to spend more time waving/clapping kind of thing. His looked a regular walk off
LordJake
Not that it means Jack shit but my Italian mate does the socials for al dente and is quite pally with Sandro and his lass. He’s in a couple of times a week either for bait or just a coffee. He’s very happy here but you know agents and offers can change that quickly
nemtizz
If Carr was still at the club we could replace him for a better and more suiting player for a quarter of the price that we'd sell him for. 1 hour ago, Chris L said: I know it doesn’t usually mean anything.
