Van Hecke?

Think he ranks well on stats but I don’t think he’s good

Slower than a week in jail.

Van de Ven is the opposite, but 52m is a lot of money for a 26-year-old with very little pedigree.

Explains why he has had such a drop off, similar to the way Isak was playing at times.

Massive shame considering what we have done for him with his gambling ban, but there is no loyalty in football anymore.

£80m+ will be a good deal though and as mentioned gives us plenty of head room to improve further.

Going to be an exciting summer though as there will be plenty of incomings. Hopefully it will make a positive difference next season but it really could go either way!

So Arsenal, Man City and Spurs in for him.

Berta at Arsenal

Maresca at Man City

De Zerbi at Spurs

Agent is really working those Italian connections.

Potentially £100m for Tonali given his form is an easy decision imo. Appreciate it's another first-teamer out the door in pretty quick succession but I don't think the optics are bad at all if we rinse someone for that amount. Even Spurs.

If we were to sell him it would be at his absolute peak value. I really like him and always have done, he’s incredible off the ball. We’d lose a lot with him gone but he’s not irreplaceable on the ball, far from it. He is probably irreplaceable off the ball

£100m would be outrageously good. I love the bloke and think people forget how good he can be, but for what he’s actually good at you’d absolutely have to take that.

Just hope he’s not a cunt about it.

I worry that we had maybe 5 players this time last year that were players who you could see at the very top, and 3 of them may be gone. Think I'd rather see Hall or Livramento leave over him.

Not with another player but with a better shape/structure, which is why big, big money is too tempting. If we still need Tonali's greatest asset to the extent we have recently, we've fucked it anyway. Take the money, thanks for the memories, and let's sink it into the rebuild along with the Gordon cash.

As much as I'd rather see him in our midfield next season, if we had to sell 2 out of Bruno, Tonali, Hall, Tino and Gordon then we were ways likely to get the bigger fees for Gordon and Tonali and they are the easiest to replace, or at least they play in positions with the most options.

So probably the 'best' outcome of necessity imo
