We should be absolutely rinsing them like. they should be paying a premium for getting it done this early.

We will rinse them and get a great deal but ultimately we have no idea how to replace him.

Would hate for us too boo him next season, he’s clearly off too a very ambitious Spurs team that we can’t compete with

Then go and get rinsed by Forest to bring Anderson home.

Would love us too but I think we can't do it financially. Would require shifting Nick and or Wissa and not at losses either.

Deserving some stick imo. Literally couldn't wait to get him out when the fans backed him to the hilt.

He’s about to get wages at City that may even be £150k more than our current top earner. I’ve got a few family members banging on about “bringing him home”, but that ships sailed so far it’s practically anchoring in Sydney Harbour.

The same fans that slagged him off all year despite being stuck in a rigid system that didn’t adapt and a club that fell apart from the top down?

Let’s maybe calm down a little bit on glazing Spurs. They’ve been a laughing stock for years. They almost got relegated last season and are changing tack. Their approach is aggressive and it may pay off but their biggest problems are up top. If Tonali goes there it’ll be for the wages and London more so than thinking they’re a safe bet for trophies and success

Yup same fans that shell out so he can collect his lovely salary whilst he takes his year off.

Spurs that have been a basket case for at least a couple of years?

They won a trophy and had an off season. Same could be said about us but here he gets 250k a week and a chance to play for a good manager

Reports are we'd be getting £90m of Spurs. So in very basic terms it would be Tonali plus £30m.

It should be a no-brainer in our position, our problem isn't really affording top players, it's attracting them. It's like the Shearer turning down Man U situation, if there is a top player who has a connection to us that would mean they might turn down the opportunity to join a sky 6 club to play for us, we have to take it. What he would offer the team in terms of genuine passion and commitment is priceless.

I've watched the video (:anguish:) and Romano says himself he's just repeating himself that Spurs want him and Tonali is open to the move. He said it's the same situation as when he broke the story. There's no new developments.

The wages plus the amortisation would ruin us tbh. Would be 30m a year + to the bottom line.

We should be putting a massive bid in for Fernandes, get the ball rolling

Knowing our luck it will be like going to an auction when you try to drive the price up for your pal and end up having to buy it yourself when you don't really want it

Id be floored if we spent so much on one player this time like. I don't expect us to spend more than 60m euro on a single player this window personally.
