I’ve not checked but it feels like Joelinton has missed about 30% of the last couple of years Premier League games. I’m not sure how reliable he’ll be fitness wise going forward either. If we don’t sign a keeper I’d like to see us getting rid of Willock and Longstaff and sign a real quality CM as well as a younger cheaper one like Matheus Fernandes. This would give us genuine quality and good depth in midfield. I know it’s unlikely that all this happens but yeah, ideally what I’d like to see personally. To be fair the key injury was when he was subjected to a bad tackle in the Derby game. If the others are recurring because of that than I take your point. We are already the 3rd highest scorers In the league with Isak playing on one leg since the cup final and Wilson needing a zimmer frame to get about the pitch.
