Tbh I don’t think 2 or 3 players signed will be enough, I was hoping for at least 3 1st team players and a couple for the bench. We still need to replace the players we’ve sold

Well of course we need to take that into account. But Osula as a Isak backup is not an option at all. 

DCL playes 26 games last season, (yea, only 1600 minutes in PL) and 32 before that.
23/24 he played 100 minutes less than Isak. I don't think everyone is calling Isak "injury ridden player"

Yes, I don't think he is by no means a perfect player, but we have to get GK, RCB, RW and most likely a CM with very limited budget. Getting a 2nd or 3rd striker for free is not a worst possible move.

That leaves no cover for midfield with Joelinton missing a third of each of the last two seasons, no right sided replacement centre half for an ageing Schar and no challenge for Pope. This for another 8 games minimum against high quality opposition.

Isak and DCL both missed 21 games each through injury over the last two seasons according to that transfer market site. Not included are the games Isak might as well have missed since January because he was very injured.

A striker of quality, and who is able to either replace Isak or support him to a high level is an absolute must. Osula is the 3rd choice and DCL is nowhere near a second choice player. I honestly can't understand people's thinking. His injury record and scoring record over the last four seasons is not of the standard we need.

Xavi Simmons is apparently on 200k a week and they paid 60m for him. Don’t see that as a realistic target at all.
