Agreed, I'd just be inclined to find someone else this summer and then go for Guehi next. That way no money for Palace/Parish.

I'd rather just spend the money on Guehi this summer if that's who Howe really wants. Else what are we going to do, just spend that same money on someone else anyway, seems pointless. £40M is very decent if that's what we end up paying.

 

Also the usual twitter nonsense going about that Eze wants out this summer and we're interested. Don't see how he fits in with us tbh, can file that under the "may as well add Newcastles name to this list of clubs to pad it out a little".

Why would we be looking at Jacob Ramsay?

 

He can't even get in the Villa team, and to me plays like Willock mk 2.

Villa could well have PSR issues , Howe likes him and we need another midfielder, especially if longstaff or Willock go.

 

I haven’t seen enough of Ramsey to know tbh but I know we tried for him 12 months or so ago.

 

also, depends which version of Willock you’re talking about. If he’s a mk 2 of the one we saw two years ago, we could do with one of those.

What LW options are available and realistic?

 

Like could Howe view Gordon / Barnes as a RW options and so it opens up LW as a buy? Which I would then be looking at Jamie Gittens.
