Tbf the entire gambling industry works on the principle of 'you give us some money, on average we'll give you less back.'

"And if you do manage to beat us long term we'll soon limit your account to 50p max stakes or ban you completely"

But lose 50k with them in a month and nothing is said.

Feel like they should have been saturday kick offs. If you win the league on the final day surely you want saturday night to enjoy it.

The value in football is particularly bad though IMO, compared to NFL.

Used to be some great value. Scorecasts involving shearer used to be 3x the odds they are now, btts in both halfs used to be 20/1+ sometimes they barely hit 2/1 FFS. Bookings, fouls, shots all shrinking as they get popular. You have to back 10 legs on paddy these days to get it to 40/1 unless you have mad picks

We shouldn't really be going into this game needing a win away from home, but because we couldn't perform in our two previous games, this is where we are. We have to win by any means necessary.

Christ im tired of watching a midfield of Bruno with either Longstaff, Miley or Anderson around him for months now [emoji38]

Was Miley ever really a problem?

I was always excited to see him in the team. Main problem was no Joelinton, Willock or Tonali

It wasnt meant as an attack on Miley, but after all the fatigue and way too many games it wasnt a beautiful watch anymore.

I mean, Man Utd was away from home as well.

Yeah, having such a 1 paced midfield wasn't great. Hopefully, we wont go through the same again

Surely if it’s 442 and Gordon is out we go:

                       Pope

Trippier  Schar.      Burn.    Hall

Almiron.  Bruno.  Joelinton.  Barnes

               Isak.     Wilson

Can't see us going 4-4-2 with inverted wingers on both sides, maybe on 1 side. Would likely be Murphy over Almiron, or weirdly Barnes and Almiron on the opposite side

I actually think Joelinton adds a  more solidified base, even on the left, if we are playing 2 up front.

Keep a clean sheet, Isak and Wilson will 100% score.

if Gordon is out we're fucked

also bloody typical

he shouldn't be travelling to Australia

We shouldn’t be we spent nigh on 40 million last summer for his understudy.

Saying that I’d bring Joelinton into midfield 3 and play Anderson down the left and see what he can do further up the pitch.

Aye Barnes is a very capable player. His form has been patchy since coming back from injury but he's hardly useless. Big game today, if AG is out I back him to step up

I wasn't expecting a win, I just thought with their poor form we'd be good enough to get a point. We just needed to avoid a defeat on the night and that's why it was a disappointment.

I think we'll be fine with Barnes.

Same. At least we've got top drawer cover for Gordon if and when he is out.
