If Spain or Germany go out against a weaker team, it will be because they missed a whole boatload of chances. England produces four decent ones a game at best.

Think four decent chances a game is being awfully kind

They have their own problems with Martinez.

The profiles are quite similar tbh. Both have wonder squads in their hands but in the end they're just brainless puppets to be pushed around. And that's exactly the profile that the FA aims for. Our last manager had the balls to sit Ronaldo on the bench in the 1/16 of a World Cup, and he was sacked right after.

Anthony Gordon, ya know that pacy skilfull FK-winning winger, would have been pretty handy to stretch things in ET. Why bother with that though, bring on more workhorses and play deep instead.

Spot on

Can't help but like Gallagher. Do think we'd love him at Newcastle.

He is relentless. Just a bit lacking in all the interesting areas

I like his game....if only for closing down when having a 2 or 3 goal lead

Gives too many fouls away for having on the pitch any other time.

Palmer has to start the next game and Gordon should as well. There’s no chance that Gordon will but I think there is at least a small chance Palmer may start
