Will Osula

Looks like a striker that would be ideal to introduce out wide and bed him in but he doesn't look comfortable on the right and the left has too many bodies as is. Think he just needs to slow down, there is something there though. They're very unbalanced with right footed players in general though which they could do with addressing in the summer. Burns was the only lefty on the pitch Monday.

We've spent a wedge of what little money we have on someone so raw that he literally cannot be trusted to play meaningful minutes. And there hasn't been any sign in his play when he has been allowed on when games are secure that he is making the progress needed to become a success. I don't rate him, and clearly he isn't rated by the coaching team to be worthy of being on the pitch.

Have you not been paying attention at all these last couple of years? The Hall situation in particular?

With every new young player, it's going to continue.

Although, I'm honestly not sure what Wilson is offering apart from giving Isak a slight rest atm.

It probably is a bit odd that even the person who suggested signing him is not giving him minutes in dead matches. He said recently there’s currently no plans to loan him out next season so they must rate him.

Yeah doesnt remind me much of the Hall situation. By the end of the season he was playing regulary and was one of our best iirc.

Hall was also very highly rated when he joined - I don’t remember seeing anyone talk about the centre forward at Sheff Utd who hadn’t scored a goal

Hall looked good before his run, was good for Chelsea against us. Osula's looked like a donkey except for against Bromley and Birmingham and wasn't much better than okay in those games

Has he been playing behind closed doors games just for you?

Haddaway man. He was arguably our best player against Birmingham.

Terrible signing. We all figured it would be.

Its unreal to me that you have not learned to not write off any (especially young) players under this management, they have proven most people on this forum wrong over and over again. Most likely youre just going to end up looking silly here.

Osula is a weird pick to focus your frustrations on after today.

Osula looks like a donkey? so Wilson must be a thorobred, I don't think so, Osula needs to be given a good opportunity before decisions made about him, we've been this way before numerous times where lads don't do well here due to management yet improve dramatically elsewhere.

Honestly mate considering we've managed to win a trophy which some people who have supported the club longer than my dad's been alive haven't experienced..

We are on the cusp of getting top 4 with a team that still has players from the Ashley era yet you pick on a signing that in the grand scheme of things is absolutely miniscule is incredible.

But still more power to you, must be mentally draining to just wake up and find anything to beat the horse with after a defeat or whatever.

He’ll either come good under exceptional coaching and a slow methodical process of bedding him into the side, or he won’t and he’ll be moved on

I’m happy to trust that our backroom staff know what they’re doing with him to give the best chance of success
