Aren't we messing them about too though. They've said £60m+ by nearly every report going. They don't need to sell and yet we're going in with low bids we know will get rejected.

I don't see our logic.

Didn't Brighton want £60mill plus  up front for Pedro ?

If howes a massive admirer of Elanga why didn't we get him at man utd when he left for cheap?

Alex Ferguson was a massive admirer of Joe Cole who bizarrely never played for Man Utd.

Why reply to me you plum.

We can't all be happy and think everything is going as planned.

I don't think everything is going as planned. I do think Elanga would be a quality signing for us though.

Hold on, Chelsea I can understand but are we giving up hope straight away because he's linked with bloody Villa?

Even when we were shite we are attracting players ahead of Villa.

A good addition yes but for daft money I'd expect a bit better.

Thought Villa were up against it PSR-wise?

Sounds like bullshit to me to try and get us to put a bigger bid in.

Villa are fine PSR wise... they just sold the womens team off to themselves

Wasn't aware the clubs transfer policy this summer was to satisfy your expectations.

He's developed considerably since leaving Man Utd like

Ferguson kept asking about Cole when he was a youth team player at West Ham.

It's not but the prices quoted we'll be struggling with psr issues again soon and we don't have the luxury of hotels carparks or a top women's team to flog to bail us out.

Well, Forest know we have more money to allocate having lost Pedro. So put in a proper, take it or leave it bid. If refused, wish them a hearty fuck off and on to plan B.

I think you mean Plan H

The club probably thought Minteh for half the cost was better VFM especially as we were signing Tino, Sandro and Hall (loan but pretty much guaranteed option to buy) in that window
