Does it really matter? We could have played another half an hour and not scored.

The changes we made were more beneficial to Brighton than any that they made themselves

My worry is that it’s gone stale. Crowd are stale, performances are stale. It’s really hard for it to change unless the manager goes.

Hysterical nonsense.

How long have you been a fan, you entitled clown?

Absolutely gutless performance. Same shit, different week.

I thought it was our best performance by far this season.  The first 25 minutes we absolutely blew them away.  And then ...... sucker punch.  If I really had to have a go at some of our players (I hate slagging off our team) then the worst culprits are our "star players".  The two Brazilians and Isak were poor today.

Err yes, after we conceded we went dead. No effort from half the players, sloppy passes - not to mention how depressing the atmosphere got.

Bollocks!

Agreed on Bruno and Isak, but I thought Big Jo was really good.

We were unlucky to not get a goal or two in the first half, their keeper was excellent tbf. Just one of those days, deserved more.

Their goal deffo took the wind out of our sails and they were able to play keep ball and frustrate us. We just didnt have the same gusto in the second half although we tried. Subs did nothing and made us disjointed i thought.

A clear problem for me is the lack of a plan B, we have no other way of playing just full out fast pressing and vertical footy at 100 miles per hour.

Weird one that one. Felt like we were completely in control for the vast majority of the game, with 3 or 4 really good chances… somehow managed to miss them all. Brighton had 1 (or maybe two) moments all game, and win.

Really frustrating but we played pretty well I thought.

Spot on!

Was probably one of, if not our best performance so far this season. We hassled and harried them from the off and they dug in deep and made it difficult for us. We made some decent chances and played some good football at times but ultimately some good defending, good goalkeeping and sloppy finishing killed the game for us. We could have and should have got something out of today, we deserved it on the balance of play, but really Gordon and Isak need to be putting those chances away.

That's what you get when you don't improve the first XI for two windows in a row. Howe and the players have been hung out to dry somewhat im afraid.

Think thats fair to say, and why Howe should escape some criticism this season. Plenty said there would be trouble a head after the mess of a transfer window we had.

Nothing about that is hysteria. It’s an observation. You may disagree with it, but calling it hysterical nonsense is, well, nonsense.

I also think you talk hysterical nonsense and I am in complete control of my emotions at the moment.  Won't last long as I'm about to open the Sauvignon Blanc.

Claiming that sacking the manager is a sudden fix is about as hysterical as it gets on all honesty.

Jesus wept.

It’s perfectly valid to have long term concerns about the ability of the team to progress as it stands.

Just wait until we blow Arsenal away.  We won't hear a peep from you.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty pish today, bar perhaps some singing from Strawberry Corner (that I heard on TV)

It was shocking. Has been for a while. No idea what the answer is.

But that's a completely different statement to saying that sacking the manager suddenly elevates the team and crowd, you utter blit.

On the way back now, majority has been covered already, however how bad are our set pieces. Bordering on criminal.

Tonali is brilliant at them, can’t understand why he’s not given a chance so far.
