I thought only old folk lived in Brighton. Like Florida in the states during the Golden Girls era before it became synonymous with "Florida Man..." headlines.

A date has been set for Newcastle United's Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion at St. James' Park.

The Magpies booked their place in the last-16 following a 3-2 away win against Birmingham City last weekend courtesy of Joe Willock's brace and Callum Wilson's strike.

Their reward is a home tie against Brighton, who claimed a 2-1 win against Chelsea in round four, and it has been confirmed that the encounter with the Seagulls will take place on Sunday, 2nd March. Kick-off has been set for 1:45pm GMT.

The cup game will also be broadcast live on ITV1.

Any further details, including ticketing information, will be confirmed on newcastleunited.com in due course.

Crap time. Without any evidence whatsoever, I feel like our record in earlier kick offs is much worse than under the lights

Surprisingly until the disaster against Bournemouth our recent record in the 12:30 Saturday ko was excellent. Not sure about early on Sunday like?

Fair enough!

I said I had no evidence. Perhaps I am just more nervous for earlier kick offs due to lack of beer
