There's so much out there still. Actually loved this week's football ramble as well. For me I think I'm more wanting to be out celebrating, I was so drained on Sunday that I went home on the last bus and kind of regret it a bit now, my lass had given me a pass to be out indefinitely if we won and I didn't use it.

Gasping to see more shots of the players reactions when the whistle goes. They showed a second or two before they cut to Howe and Slot et al. 

 

I know Joe and Schar dropped to their knees. Tino went off on one. I just want faces and expressions and joy and tears from them all. Id even watch a match cam focused on each individual player.

Watching the game back, Salah truly fucked liverpool with his laziness. Tino was able to carry the ball forward so easily under zero pressure, creating the second goal that way. Makes me thankful for our wide players who work just as hard going backward as they do forward.

That was a great day, but I think closest for me was listening to the radio with my dad when we were away at Grimsby in '93. Anyway, what do normal Lpool supporters think of NUFC & our fans? Genuine question, RAWK posters almost to a man seem to believe we’re entitled, deluded, sports washing twats. 

 

Not trying to wind you up here, it would be good to get your thoughts.

 

If we get chance and you stick around, we might be able to give a few differing view points from our own on our owners and what kind of club we now are.

 

As for the match on Sunday, you weren’t at the races. Is the feeling that Slot got the selection wrong and should have rotated the squad more and it’s catching up on the players?

Cheers for the welcome, and I was amused by the gimp pic earlier regarding your resident Man U fan. Poor bugger, imagine being one of them in this day and age.

 

We simply didn't turn up against you lot - not seen us play that badly in a long time. You got your tactics bang on. We looked knackered and you quite rightly played us off the park - I was fuming. Never seen Our Mo kept so quiet.

 

I think Slot could have rotated against Southampton - he's obviously focused on the league though. We looked tired against them too, I think the season is catching up with us. Trent and Gomez being injured doesn't help. I think we'll get over the line, but don't believe it will be the grandstand finish that it is made out to be.

 

Regarding ownership, sportswashing sucks arse... we've had questionable owners ourselves in the past (the Cowboys, aka Hicks and Gillette) but that was a different kettle of fish. I think it's sad that a club of your stature is being used like this. I can kind of understand diehard supporters doing mental Olympics to justify it - we all want success. 

 

Anyway, sorry for the essay, I have flu so might not be coming across clearly. Congratulations on your win, you beat us fair and square. You buggers, how dare you!
