PolskiMag
Booked all the flights and decided to bring kids and stay on Quayside. I've gone through the change curve re the event vs bus. Been a long time lurker and very rare poster here as really enjoyed the forum since leaving the UK over 15 years ago as along with WhatsApp keeps you "involved" in something which is so ingrained in you. I gave up my season ticket when I left UK (kept it commuting from Sheffield and London during the big Sam and KK return). Used to work to live via NUFC weekends as a teen and into early twenties so I can't lie that I'm a bit gutted that I may miss out via the event However just determined that the kids see the atmosphere and I'm sure the city will be buzzing. Looking forward and excited to coming back for this.

Burn running to grab Murphy Bruno calling over Jamal for the trophy lift Emotional Greame Jones "From relegation battles, to this" I normally miss club football, but this break just offers up more time to find more, and more content of the 2025 Carabao cup winners!!! I've been like this all week. Just watching video after video, some for the 4th or 5th time. I'll never tire of it.

Sid
Sunday morning, a week ago today, I was filled, not even with trepidation, but with a certainty that, once again, we would get the little rosette for competing, as we have done throughout my supporting life. Still buzzing.

Still buzzing. I was heading into town on the Metro. Everyone in Newcastle United colours, even students with accents not from the area. Getting into town and people were gathering in bars, but the rest of the streets were empty, you just felt that this city was going to explode come the end of the day. Guest
I need to get something off my chest as it's being doing my head in. Micah Richards seems to be seen as a bit of a funny guy and a character, and really it's hard to disagree with that, but I've got to argue I don't think I will ever fully fall in love with the guy. The reasons is because I've always suspected he's one of the blindsided people that use the popular narrative to define their 'expertise'. I've heard him mock Rob Lee yet I can guarantee he never watched him play or was ever interested in his own success story as mediocre 2nd division player to England and the combative midfield general we call one of the best midfielders that ever played for us. I also heard him say recently that man city need 'investment' to claw back the premier league title, which is the answer id expect from a twelve year old. But the thing that's irked me the most is his comments to shearer and lineker about the comparison between Newcastle and Liverpool fans last Sunday. I've got to say, I wasn't there. I went to every cup game this season and two years ago but in both circumstances like many fans, was unlucky. But from everyone I've spoke to who went, vocally (as well as on the pitch) we absolutely dominated them. Yet, Mr Richards claimed 'liverpool support was incredible and is always the best, BUT Newcastle matched them'....I'm sorry, I know we won, but I can't stand false credit. YNWA was drowned out three times, I've heard that from about a hundred fans so far that where there, and unless you were watching a faint transmission from mars the TV footage supports this tenfold. Now one of the reasons that Mr Richards said this instead of relying on his eyes and ears is probably because pre match the 'impartial' media was seen interacting with the Liverpool camp and their 'duty' to support the septic six no matter what the reality is. I thought our fans were simply incredible, we won the game 2-1, should have been 4-0. But our fans won that by a bigger score, it's a shame Richards is too full of his own ego and top six mentality to realise that. One man I give huge credit to is Jamie redknapp. Not easy when your team has lost a final, but he actually was able to switch off and give praise where it's due.
