It kinda bewilders me those in the media balking at the fee; as apart from Delap who had the really low release clause, every other striker we went for was at similar ball park cost and they all had similar risk attached.

He proven, but has spent most of his time in the PL as a wide forward and has hardly been prolific. It looks like he's managing the move to Chelsea and to CF well currently, but there were lots of people on here not convinced when we were linked. Especially if he was going to be an Isak replacement.

On reflection, the player that I saw on the match highlights didn't look like the player that I saw in the Under 21s. He looked a bit nervous and hesitant, whereas in the Under 21s he was eager to get on the ball and make things happen. Maybe that's because he was given a freer role, I don't know. Obviously there's less pressure at that level.

 

He's only had three caps and Germany have lost all three games, so things aren't going well. He's also had a turbulent last few days with the transfer. Eddie is very good at giving players the right environment, so let's be patient.

I've no idea. His looks make him stand out, which does not make sense for a serial killer. Serial killers generally look ordinary, they blend in to society to hide in plain sight. A porn star joke would be more sensible.
