et tu brute
He's been poor, but he has hardly received the ball either. Made loads of runs, but practically been ignored every time

I don't know who the under 21 manager is, but they should put him in charge. That team he played in over the summer was much more dynamic and effective. Erikse
He has already proven some of what he can do here. No coincidence that he plays better with us.

andycap
You'd think they'd be able to find away to utilise him more to there advantage.

Seems you get this designation nowadays if your team passes side to side all game at the edge of the opposition's box. Strange times.
bobbydazzla
Is this the same German coach who would stand in the dugout sticking his finger in his arsehole and sniffing it ?

Nah that was Joachim Low. This is Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann is 38 and skateboards. Low didn't even stoop that low.

I thought the coach had learned the first five minutes second half, as he did receive 3 passes and laid them off each time. He then received nothing again until just before he was taken off, when he played through a perfect pass which resulted in a free kick. He was making runs and coming short for the pass throughout his duration on the pitch and he was just totally ignored time and time again Edited October 10, 2025 by et tu brute

Thought the team was an awful watch, and looked completely clueless. Ended up scoring from Luxembourg making a mess of things mostly.

Wolte didn't receive a single usable ball in the box and was also passed to far too rarely. Things are going much, much better here. I think he has the right team at Toon, and I hope he plays here for many years to come.
Jack14Bojangles
Woltemade played 60 minutes today. He didn't receive any balls in the box and received far too few passes. But it wasn't easy for a center forward when all the opponents are defending in the penalty area. I hope that will change on Monday in Northern Ireland and he can finally score his first goal.
