Paullow Posted Sunday at 01:07 Share Posted Sunday at 01:07 I still can't believe how half arsed BBC have been with their coverage. Coming on air 10 mins before kick off for the later games, barely in time for the anthems, is poor regardless of where they are based. It's basically as if you're watching Rotherham vs Wycombe on the Sky Red Button. ITV presenters and pundits were working past 1.30am local time (in New York) yesterday for Turkey vs Paraguay, so no reason why BBC can't put more effort here. Paullow Posted Sunday at 01:20 Share Posted Sunday at 01:20 Good spell for Curacao. I was expecting to be going to bed at half time with Ecuador 2 or 3 up, but they're holding their own and having their moments. Should have scored just before. Disco Posted Sunday at 01:28 Share Posted Sunday at 01:28 Shame that Locadia and the Bacuna’s aren’t five years younger; Curacao would be in with a genuine chance on the break if so.

Paullow Posted Sunday at 01:44 Share Posted Sunday at 01:44 I hope Curacao hold out, but if it does stay 0-0 then it's effectively just going to send both home and more chance another team with 3 points and a not bad GD advances. I guess at least the final group matches will be live heading into them even if both are very likely to take their Ls. It is good entertainment nevertheless. Paullow Posted Sunday at 01:55 Share Posted Sunday at 01:55 Actually, this result would mean German definitely top the group, so maybe half a chance for Ecuador. Hopefully Woltemade and Thiaw get a few minutes.
