KetsbaiaIsBald
I wish I could leave after the first half has finished, get a beer, drink it for 10 mins, chat and then go back in for second half. Not, leave after the first half has finished, queue for 15 minutes, down a beer, go out having missed 2-5 minutes of the game. Solve this problem before a burnt hotdog! The concourse experience is generally crap like. Obviously we slag people off for leaving their seat early because it indicates they care more about going to the shop than they do about the game, and there's a fair percentage for whom that is an accurate description. However, enjoying a pint or pie at the footy is a genuinely delightful thing which is all part of the experience, and I can't blame people for relishing that. I do it at York every time without fail, missing virtually nothing of the game (maybe a minute or two tops). But attempting to achieve that experience at SJP requires you to enter a brawl and leaves no time to actually enjoy the activity; hence why people go down early. It's basically the only thing, as a user, that would see me back a plan to move: massive concourse/facilities upgrades. Is Spurs loads better? I assume it is. AyeDubbleYoo
Spurs was horrific inside the concourse when I went - packed shoulder to shoulder in a massive scrum. Actually felt dangerous. I didn’t know where I was going though, so maybe you can learn the ways. They serve nice beer (Beavertown etc) but I didn’t notice it being particularly easy to get one. Yorkie
Well that's shite. You'd expect the most modern of all stadia to be a bit easier to get a pint at half time.

AyeDubbleYoo
They do have the fast pouring pints, yeah. It was just physically getting to the counter. Only been once though and the stadium was quite new, could be better now.
Sima
Must just be the away section or the lower tier in general, because I went there for the Bills in the NFL last season and the upper tier behind the same goal has a massive concourse behind it.

Are those concourse bits at Spurs a massive step up from our very basic experience?

I was in one of the Chelsea stands, no idea which one but it was a home end and it was quality to be fair. Really modern, loads of good food and drinks options, loads of screens , was class.
