Preserving a grand old building so a load of workshy dossers can sit round smoking doobies and watching Loose Women on telly every day

Future generations would much rather admire the historical importance of a massive state art of the world class stadium than a boring old Georgian terrace

It’s just a load of sandstone blocks man

Once it’s been bulldozed and replaced by the Magpie Megadome no one will remember Leazers Terrace

If brick nonces want to jizz over Georgian architecture they can stand on Grey Street and tug themselves daft

The Magpie Megadome would be an awesome name for a new stadium btw!😄

Hope there will be a GF offering somewhere.

Absolute murder trying to find something for my daughter to eat when we come up.

The Landmark Chinese round the corner does a banging gluten free range, very reliable as well in terms of no cross-contamination.

Must have had to shoot that out of hours at Seaburn Stack, no way the MLF’s would have allowed Saudi gravy stained mags out of there without a good hiding.

Imagine if leazes terrace got flattened and then we were only able to build half a stand because st James terrace is still there

The best solution for the east stand is to buy and apply to demolish 2 of the grade 2 listed buildings on st James terrace, then build halfway across the road which is probably the limit of how close it could be to leazes terrace. That could probably get it nearer the height of the current gallowgate which is an improvement.

No doubt people will gan on about right to light, the small car park or the road that leads to nowhere but it's more realistic than demolishing a whole fucking street of grade one listed. I think there will be compromises and that's as good as it would gets. However gallowgate would need done first to hoy all east stand ST holders in for a year or two

That would be an atmosphere killer if ever there was one!

Just build a new stadium on Leazes park

Never get planning permission there’s a new generation of Dolly Potters waiting in the wings, would have to be Castle Leazes and would still generate huge opposition.
