I wish I could leave after the first half has finished, get a beer, drink it for 10 mins, chat and then go back in for second half.

Not,

leave after the first half has finished, queue for 15 minutes, down a beer, go out having missed 2-5 minutes of the game.

Just get it ate!

I've got a mate that pulls apart anything he is going to eat to check what's inside, I just open wide and crunch like a Hippo, "if it doesn't stick in your throat it wont stick in your arse" my grandad used to say

The concourse experience is generally crap like.

Obviously we slag people off for leaving their seat early because it indicates they care more about going to the shop than they do about the game, and there's a fair percentage for whom that is an accurate description.

However, enjoying a pint or pie at the footy is a genuinely delightful thing which is all part of the experience, and I can't blame people for relishing that. I do it at York every time without fail, missing virtually nothing of the game (maybe a minute or two tops). But attempting to achieve that experience at SJP requires you to enter a brawl and leaves no time to actually enjoy the activity; hence why people go down early.

It's basically the only thing, as a user, that would see me back a plan to move: massive concourse/facilities upgrades. Is Spurs loads better? I assume it is.

Spurs was horrific inside the concourse when I went - packed shoulder to shoulder in a massive scrum. Actually felt dangerous. I didn’t know where I was going though, so maybe you can learn the ways.

They serve nice beer (Beavertown etc) but I didn’t notice it being particularly easy to get one.

That surprising.  I thought they had the 2-3 second beer pouring thing.

Must just be the away section or the lower tier in general, because I went there for the Bills in the NFL last season and the upper tier behind the same goal has a massive concourse behind it.

Are those concourse bits at Spurs a massive step up from our very basic experience?

Well that's shite. You'd expect the most modern of all stadia to be a bit easier to get a pint at half time.

I was in one of the Chelsea stands, no idea which one but it was a home end and it was quality to be fair. Really modern, loads of good food and drinks options, loads of screens , was class.

Dismantling the old prefab store?  Not sure why it would go all the way along, mind.

The new store, at the Gallowgate End of the famous St. James' Park, has been transformed over recent months as part of a significant investment plan, in partnership with adidas.

The club's in-house retail and operations teams have worked, together with adidas, to create a new, best-in-class retail experience. The new store will offer supporters the largest range of Newcastle United kit and official product lines anywhere. Its enhanced layout, increased number of till points, new kit customisation area, alongside immersive imagery and video content, will create incredible retail and fan experiences for all fans.

A new 'experiential zone' has also been added, with a huge 8K LED screen - weighing 1.5 tonnes - and a ten-metre steel replica of the iconic Tyne Bridge installed to create unique, and shareable, moments for all visitors.

The store will open first to The Mags+ membersfrom 2pm-4pm (GMT) on Wednesday. Mags+ members will shortly receive an email with a registration link, and Mags+ members visiting the store will receive a token for a free drink (selected drinks only) to be redeemed at Shearer's Bar. [emoji38]
