If we get good money, most will be unhappy if a fair chunk isn't spent on the def ie Looks like we'll need at least one £5m+ CD to take control of the middle and play with Taylor etc..And we deffo need a left back. If money is tight we will probably have to carry the RB postion and rotate Solano/Hunty etc there. Letting Zoggy go we are creating a problem without a guarantee of an easy replacement (of similar quality) we currently don't have. Admittedly the blow will be softened if we get £7m plus for him which is imo his real value..(see Spuds season and a half attempt and failure to get a good lefty). This a headache we don't need. Duff has been one of out best players in our last 2 games so for me obviously Zog is 2nd choice. There was lots of talk of it offered, that its was going to be signed, then nothing, and IIRC its been asked here before and no definitive answer was ever concluded. Since Com (the new cock) has him as retained until 09, it suggests the new 3 year extension wasn't signed doesn't it?
