Guest Invicta_Toon
assuming you could clone the England squad, i.e. Chelsea etc keep Terry and Lampard also assuming a semi-decent manager (not McLaren) where would the current squad finish in the current Premiership? Guest Alan Shearer 9
what a f****** stupid thread. 3rd or 4th
Guest alex
Sven as manager? Shit poll btw
Delima
It depends largely on the manager. If a manager of Fergie, Rafa, Wenger and Mourinho's class is managing the England team, then I would expect top or 2nd.
Rebellious
If they have week in week out training together and the core of the team had been playing for a couple of years I would expect 1st or 2nd. If they are only together for a few days every few months before each game like in reality then about 6th as I voted.
Stevie
With anything like a decent manager - 1st
Kimbo
3rd to 5th i reckon. If England played a season in the premiership the team would gel more as a team, and considering the total lack of quality outside the top 4, i think they would probably be fighting Arsenal for 4th spot. SEMTEX
if i was in charge they would finish top, as shown in one of my previous footy manager games. if you could alter that to make the premiership a league of nations it wud be belters. perhaps there is a way to do it ala bilbao. anyway... Guest alexharrisonnufc
i suppose they could challenge if they were with each other day in day out
The College Dropout
England are Chelsea without the late goals right now. Yeah so do I, 3rd or 4th. They'd stutter their way through Sven style.
Karjala
Whats the point in saying "if they had a decent manager" they have McLaren so we should vote based on the current team and manager. its like saying "where would NUFC finish if they had Ferguson as manager and played in the Spanish League"
Guest ticaL
7th, this is ridiculous but meh. The players aren't that fantastish.

Guest Stephen927
Under McClaren and with a few months of training together, I would expect them to just about scrape Champions League qualification.
Guest Alan_Shearer
Stupid poll, as theres little doubt they would come 1st.
Unlucky Luque
well we need specific details about the manager or it could be anything from 20th to 1st...
Troll
So the general opinion seems to be that with the right manager, England could be up there with Bolton Wanderers!
