Liam Liam Liam O
always thought these who would win things were pointless, but for hat its worth i'd say every player in that la liga team is better than the corresponding player in that premier league team
NSG
Foster is not better than Given. Not yet, anyway. Apart from Shot stopping (admittedly the most important part of a keepers game), Given struggles a lot. Not vocal enough - doesn't command his box like Cech, Schmeichel etc Poor kicker on his left foot Shits himself when striker closes him down Rarely comes for crosses Still a very good keeper though
Thespence
He was statistically the best right-back in the league by a long shot last year. Is that statistically the best team from La Liga?

Yorkie
To be fair to the lad, it's impossible to pick a realistic midfield, without fitting square pegs into round holes, just so you can accommodate Gerrard, Lampard, Essien, Fabregas, Parker, Scholes, Makelele and, and, and... ------------------------------------ Cech ----------------------------------- Finnan --------- Ferdinand ---------------- Terry ---------------- Evra Ronaldo ---------- Gerrard ---------------- Essien ----------- Robben --------------------- Drogba ---------------- Rooney --------------------- ? Will undoubtedly have forgotten about ten top class players.

SUPERTOON
RVN scored something like 30 goals this season. I was thinking about RVN and Villa but Eto'o was injured and when fit is better i think.
Mr. Snrub
Eto'o is the best striker in the world. He has everything.

Forster would get in based on comparing last seasons form alone though.
Ronaldo
Vidic over Ferdinand? Given over Cech? Essien over Lampard? the first two I couldn't agree more with, Ferdinand and Cech need to be there Essien however is twice the player Lampard is
Mowen
Given the best keeper in the league?! mackems.gif Whats funny?? Who is better?? Cech Van Der Saar Jussi Given is an excellent shot stopper, probably the best in the league but overall he's nowhere near the level of someone like Cech. VDS was utter, utter shit at the end of last season. Would be surprised if he's first choice next season.

Thespence
People go on about Frank Lampard like he is absloute s****, he scored 20 goals last year from midfield. That is more than our top striker last year.
Guest Nappy Rash
I put Finnan in as he is the best RB in the prem Name one better?? You only want one? Both the Neville brothers. Chimbonda. Eboue. There's 4 for starters

wacko
Finnan was statistically the highest-rated defender last season in the Actim statistics. He doesn't catch the eye, but is rock-solid week-in, week-out and very, very rarely makes a mistake. No great shakes as a wing-back, but an exceptional fullback. I reckon if the Prem team lined up with Gerrard, Essien and Makelele or Mascherano in CM, the Spanish side would be overrun.
Guest Nappy Rash
Yes both the chuckle brothers, despite being horrible bastards, they are both excellent full backs, good defenders and good offensively also. Statistics suggest for the last two seasons Owen is a shit goalscorer, stats would also suggest Peter Crotch is one of Englands best ever strikers with his goals to games ratio, call me old fashioned but I prefer the old fashioned way of judging a player on his ability, daft I know in a time when most people on these forums judge players by youtube compliations or computer games. tmonkey
I think a La Liga all star team would dominate the possession, in the same way we see more technically adept foreign international teams dominate England. Especially with the midfields being proposed here for the Premiership all star side.
Sima
Is that an utter mong I see laughing at the suggestion of Gary Neville?
Mowen
G. Nev is better than Finnan, but I'm not too sure about the other 3 you've listed. I think P. Nev mainly plays holding midfield for Everton now, I never really rated him that highly as a full back anyway. Chimbonda and Eboue are both very good, but I don't think they're consistant enough to be as good as Finnan yet.
