i dont think its true but he would be a good signing if he could stay fit

i still prefer baines from wigan

He's probably the most reliable ITK I've ever seen on messageboards in all honesty, so I would be inclinded to believe an offer has been made.

Bridge is a very good player. Far more accomplished than Baines and far less risk.

The lad off Skunkers seems very reliable too.

Which lad on skunkers? "Whatever"?

Yes, that's who he posts as.

He's normally pretty reliable - don't know who his source is but he seems to get some good info.

I think Bridge is the second best left-back in the world. He would be the signing of the summer in my opinion.

Much, much better than Baines. All Baines has over Bridge is youth.

With Kev, would much prefer baines.

Certainly not turning my nose up at bridge though if we can get him, great player.

Just rather we bought a Left back whose career was on the up not coming down. would be slightly troubled by his injury history aswell, but im sure whomever we bring in we could nit pick the flaws.

Bridge is at a completely different level playing wise to Baines, whether Baines can ever get to that level is a matter of opinion but I'd prefer Bridge at this moment in time.

Aye, Bridge is by far the better defender, which is what we need right now.

Hopefully we can pull this off, should of been done 18months ago mind.

Not sure Mourinho would want to sell though. He's always talked about 2 top quality players for each position.

After Ashley Cole, what are their other left back options should Bridge leave? Anyone know?

Maybe he has his eye on someone else, quite possible.

A player like Drenthe would make sense for Chelsea, someone who could shadow Cole for a few years, before demanding 30+ league games a season. At 26, Bridge needs first team football.

Well Chelsea are said to have a strong interest in Drenthe, so they would probably have him as backup to Ashley Cole. Hopefully this means Bridge will be available. They haven't turned us down straight away so there is hope.

Excellent news.

Why the hell has some dude copied my Habib Beye pic!
