Rich
Enrique will not be involved Sam on official site I know we're similar and all that, but howay man: No Enrique in the squad of 16 according to Allardyce, he's still getting himself up to "peak condition". Owen will most likely be on the bench. Emre is back in full training, but isn't fit enough to be in the squad either. Forster, Ramage, Cacapa, Ameobi and Owen will be the bench now, IMO. Skirge
I think he will start with near enough the same team and hope for a good early lead again, then look to sure things up and hold onto the lead. Funny though as I thought Enrique had a pre-season and Cacapa did not??

Skirge
http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/chroniclesport/tm_headline=play-it-again-sam%26method=full%26objectid=19650902%26siteid=50081-name_page.html Play it again Sam Aug 17 2007 by Alan Oliver, Evening Chronicle SAM ALLARDYCE is ready to give a vote of confidence to the Newcastle United team which won at Bolton last Saturday for tomorrow’s St James’ Park opener with Aston Villa. And this means that Michael Owen will have to be content with a seat on the bench after declaring himself fit for the first time at senior level since the opening friendly of the season at Hartlepool. Big Sam is not one to reveal his plans to opposing managers and his only comment on his team selection today was: “It will be the same squad that went to Bolton Wanderers, plus Michael Owen.” Keeper Shay Given is still not ready, along with long-term injuries Emre, Damien Duff, Joey Barton and Celestine Babayaro, although the Turkish ace is close to a return. And while Cacapa is again in the squad and favourite to become the 1000th player to represent United, Spanish left-back Jose Enrique has been kept back again following his £4.2m switch from Villarreal. Said the United boss: “Jose is improving but he is still a way off. He’s fit but he has not done a pre-season programme to give him the physical strength to play in the Premiership. “So until he is absolutely 100% in that category, and bearing in mind he has come from a different environ-ment in Spain, I’ll take it slowly but surely with him to make sure nobody levels any sort of criticism at him too early on if he doesn’t perform to the level we know he can.” Given misses out on coming face to face with Marlon Harewood, who will be on the Villa bench, although the United keeper insists he has fully recovered from his clash with the burly striker at Upton Park last September. With a lot of focus on his wheeling and dealing in the transfer market this week, Allardyce has not lost sight of his first home competitive game at St James’ Park as United boss tomorrow, when he is likely to get a great reception. He said today: “I hope we don’t waste last Saturday’s win at Bolton. It’s always a huge result when you win away from home. After that the pressure’s immediately back on in your home game. “If you beat Bolton 3-1, it builds expectation. You beat them comfortably and everybody comes strolling down to St James’ Park thinking we’ll beat Aston Villa. “Unfortunately, that’s not the case unless you’re 100% professional in the way you approach the game. “We’ve got to be technically and tactically aware of what Aston Villa are going to try and do and nullify their strengths and obviously try to exploit their weaknesses as always. “We need to get that right, make fewer mistakes than the opposition and use our abilities in the right areas. “My focus, and that of Nigel Pearson, has been on the players’ concentration out of possession. Hopefully, we’ve learnt a big lesson from last Saturday’s game. “What we did for their goal was our own fault. It came a long way from our corner and that sort of thing becomes very, very costly. “Fortunately, this time it didn’t hurt us, but the next time it will. We’ve got to cut that sort of ragged defending out. Not just from defenders, but from midfielders on the edge of the box.”

Guest Knightrider
I don't think I've been anticipating a league match at home quite as much for years now. I think this will be a tough one however and I sadly predict a draw, a score draw. Although I'm hoping for a win. Much will depend on us lot I reckon. La Parka
Wahey! Howay the lads! Newcastle v Aston Villa (1715 BST) Aston Villa have only played one game so far - losing to Liverpool - but I think they're better than that. Newcastle are still very much settling in under Sam Allardyce so I'll go for an entertaining draw. Match preview Prediction: 2-2 Lowro got us down for a draw again. Think he might be a bit closer this time.
SUPERTOON
Nervous for this one there is alot of pressure on us to win because of last weeks result but this will be a really tough game. Villa will come to frustrate and have players capable of hitting us on the break. 1-0 Toon Viduka

Taylor Swift
Interesting note, last year the first game home that their new owner, Randy Lerner, watched, was the game they beat us 2-0. This year it'll be Mort's first official game at home and might well be Ashley's first time at St. James' for a match. Interesting that we're playing Villa today. Wouldn't mind a 2-
