I think all the players we have been linked with that have release causes we will be blown out the water in terms of wages. It will need the player to want to play for us and accept less wages. I am a big Huijsen fan but don't think he will come here due to wages. There are plenty of young defenders in Portugal I like but they may cost £50 million plus and that's a risk. I have faith in Mitchell to unearth some players from Europe or South America who will be a fraction of this cost.

It actually makes sense, his agent obviously knows what he's doing. The release clause is low so the player can pocket the difference.
