    Alexander Isak

A lot of those negative scenarios can be guarded against by making a signing like Pedro. Not only someone who can play alongside Isak, but someone who can potentially fill in if we end up selling in a year's time.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

We actually have to overperform season on season to qualify for the CL. The big clubs not only have more spending power, but they can hit us with a double whammy by using it to sign the players we need to close the gap. We already lost Delap and probably Cunha and Mbuemo to direct competitors. If you believe the rumours we might lose Pedro and Trafford to them as well.
  6. But it does show that being a massive club is relative. Liverpool are a major city so always had potential to be a big club because of their catchment area. Paris would be similar I imagine for the same reason, and also the international awareness being France's premier city.

Be like when they signed Phil Babb, or Dominic Matteo.
  8. It’s true prior to the 1974 cup final against us we were on the same number of trophies, they played in front of 20k crowds pre Shankly.
  9. Very true, that’s why I mentioned Shankly in the post 😆 From memory and happy to be corrected they were back rolled by the family behind the football pools competition around then too.
  10. If the lettering is orange is screaming for a classic players name
  11. I would be surprised if Forest sustain last seasons form. It will be the usual cartel 6 battling for 5 spots, with us and Villa trying to overcome the odds. Ultimately I think we will be well ahead of Villa in 5 years and revenue will be close to spurs.
  12. I heard that Liverpool weren't really considered a big team until Shankly's era, then they had massive success in the league and in Europe and that cemented them as legends across the world. How much of that is true I don't know.

Kudus for sure (I loved St Max and think he'd have done well under this Howe side with genuine talent around him, was our only bright spark in a sea of shit).
  17. I don't think there'll be many clubs that always finish in the CL at the moment. Maybe only the top 3. Depending on Man U/Spurs recovery and Forest/Villa maintenance I guess. It's extremely competitive.
  18. They always look much worse on the hanger. I don't like the design anyway but it will look better once we see it properly.
  19. Surely that can't be real
  20. Agree with your club list. Personally I’d always go Milan over Inter but that’s purely Maldini worshipping
  21. I'm really confident that once the proper photos of that are out everyone will be all over it. Reminds me a lot of the Netherlands '98 kit that I was obsessed with and could never find.
  22. Good memory! It was me but I realized I was confusing him with another player . Got him mixed up with Sulemana, I think? I’ll admit though I’ve been impressed with him I just see Elanga as a much better fit for us; even attitude-wise he seems like a more earnest, hard-working type that Eddie seems to like working with. Wouldn’t be averse to Kudus at all though.
