Are the fans enjoying their day out? Is it a coincidence that we’re shit when Shelvey plays? -

Oh no! Hope he’s not out for too long. 35 games would do. -
You’d think the “best passer in the league” would easily get into our team. Weird.

Scored one of the best goals i’ve seen whilst being at the match

The storm down here was mental. No surprise it got called off. Enjoy when it reaches you.

Where's the post bemoaning the fact that he won't pick an injured player? -
Harsh on covmag. Unless you know him?
-
covmag is the ultimate Jekyl and Hyde NO poster to be fair. He probably shares his account with someone.

Just popping in here to say welcome back to leazes mag.

Wait to see the smug bastard when we sneak a draw somewhere

We expect too much, us Newcastle fans. Even good managers like 5th place Pardew fell foul of that. If we’re not beating the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Norwich we want the manager out.

Your evidence that I'm Odin is: - I joined a few weeks before he was banned / left. (which makes no fucking sense) - If we play countdown with my username, Odin is one of the two hundred words we can make. Just come back as Odin. Nobody cares anymore.

See what? Takeover back on

Bruce has nothing to do with recruitment and doesn’t do any coaching? So he just picks the team and formation? Useful.
-
I reckon him on the touching shouting “what the fuck is going on?” Kinda ruins his argument.

Great memories of some brothers no longer with us in that thread.

Fuck it, i’m in.

"As we saw here last season, under Rafa, where we lost, Spurs have some very good players. It was always going to be a difficult game, especially knowing that we lost to them last season, under Rafa. I'm just pleased to see that the lads pulled their socks up after a difficult couple of weeks, especially following the article by Rafa, who incidentally didn't win for the first 10 or 20 games last season. I just hope that the fans can recognise that we're trying to play some attacking football now after watching a lot of, admittedly effective, defensive displays under Rafa. Yes, we may concede a few, and against teams like Spurs it was always going to be hard once the 6th goal went in, but I'm pleased to see that the lads didn't give up at that point and we almost won a couple of corners towards the end. Actually, do we know how many corners Rafa won against these last season?"

As much as I agree with the general point: - Sunderland got their money back on Gyan - no idea where that figure above has come from. - John O Shea and Wes Brown were good signings for Sunderland given the length of service provided - not their fault they continued to be played four years later when they were completely finished because Sunderland didn't replace them. - Abel Hernandez was consistently Hull's best player during his time there and only left because they couldn't agree a new contract. They got money back on gyan because of the first loan fee, but the transfer fee they received the year after was just over £6m
