Yes, I can see a flaw in the figures. I just wondered if you'd missed the Chelsea news
-
It'll be lifted next week, as they've secured funds. So what was the flaw you meant? I hope it wasn't that Chelsea have a transfer ban too?

He'd be good backup unless we win promotion.

Aguero's price?

Should Celtic & Rangers be allowed to join the Premiership?

The games are a lot better though. Watching Scottish football is like watching women play, including the "big two". -

Ignorance? It's an ENGLISH league. Should we let Real Madrid into the Premiership too? -

You just want to buy a way into being able to call eveyone cunts.

I'd be in. I'd want a guarantee that I'd never be banned from the forum though.

Shame he couldn't be strong for them. As for bringing up soldiers deaths in comparison is nothing short of retarded; this is a football forum, no explanation is necessary. That's why I specifically mentioned General Chat. Let it go. How about not mentioning it in the 1st place. TBF you cannot moan about letting it go after making such a daft comment. I don't find it daft at all. I just find it strange how people mourn a footballer but fail to mourn our friends and families who fight a war which isn't theirs. And yes, I do have friends fighting in Afghanistan, so yes, I might take this more personally than you. I said let it go because my comment was well over 12 hours before you had to chime in, when other people had got the conversation back on track. However, you've now let it turn into a debate it shouldn't have. Well done. I cannot help that i am not on here 24/7 and able to comment on stupid posts instantaneously. I've got friends over there too, but know the difference between a football forum and a current affairs forum, it's not too difficult to distinguish, but I can see why you had trouble doing so. End of the day, your fault for talking shite, not mine for commenting on it. I didn't even bother directly quoting you, that's how much i chimed in. If you are so concerned about Afgan and the troops, you know where general chat is; make a thread. I wasn't going to keep this going, but you're forcing it My initial comment was I find these kinds of threads strange. That's my opinion, something which the forum is for, no? The fact you think it's a daft comment doesn't actually make it a daft comment. Thanks

Is the ultimate aim to get 70000+ fans putting in £1500 each, or is there an expectation that 2 or 3 parties will donate a lot more? Sorry if that's already been asked. I'd certainly go with the suggestion earlier that we each put £10 in

Fair enough. It is a football forum though, ultimately a footballers death will be more high profile. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I just find it very odd how people get upset about deaths of footballers who people have probably never heard of (and yeah, I know, you've never heard of the soldiers who died either) Why would people not have heard of him? OK, some people. I seem to remember getting into this conversation the last time a footballer died. I should learn from my mistake

I kinda find these threads a bit strange. RIP and all that, but I can't even find a thread in Gen Chat about this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8351737.stm

Depends how much Villa paid for Delph. £6m I heard.

Torres also dives. Example please. Weird that diving is brought up yet no one mentions Rooney, he's just as bad as Drogba ffs. v Man United? (it's on youtube, as well as lots of other dives of his).

Agreed. The crowd was very influential and the ref wasn't strong enough. Not only did he let them get away with some bad challenges, but every time one of their players fell over in our half of the field they got a free kick. He was a typical homer. Ironic that our goal came after one of our few fouls that he missed. At the beginning of the season there were quite a few favourable comments about the relaxed standard of refereeing in this division which I had my doubts about at the time and this has just been confirmed in recent matches. Chris Morgan and his ugly friend's "marking" was bordering on cheating yesterday. Served them right that our goal came from an illegal challenge by Nolan. The refs are fucking hopeless imo. Was it an illegal challenge? Looked pretty good to me.

Difficult question. I'll say Van Persie

Ashley to keep club, put £20m in and consider stadium naming rights

Don't you understand that nobody has said it wasn't a disaster? Keegan should have been backed and allowed to manage the team. He wasn't and that's why we are as s**** as we are now. Now can you work out for yourself why it went wrong? Huh? You seemed to be saying it wasn't an ill thought out decision. I just took that to mean you thought it was a good idea... sorry if not. I'm fully aware why it went wrong, that's why I'm saying it was a mistake. The funny thing was, they had the ideal man to work with on a tight budget and they sacked him. He would have made the process of getting into the Championship a lot quicker anyway.
