  1. I posted a while ago that we'd have no chance of signing him. Not much point posting in that thread as it could only come back to bite me
  2. Explains why they didn't announce the signings then.
  3. Page 4 of 11, when you actually wanted page 3. Awesome.
  4. Same.. he's always looked rather lazy to me or something.. His job is to score goals, he's done that to a World Class level over his whole career, what more do you ask for? Signing Shearer spoilt us tbh
  5. Probably is. Adds to the database size at the end of the day though.
  6. I posted on here ages ago that Tiago would never sign for us. Let's see
  7. Why "hopefully Derdiyok"? I'd personally prefer someone who would start instead of Viduka, rather than sitting on the bench.
  8. Full name Thierry Daniel Henry Date of birth 17 August 1977 (1977-08-17) (age 30) Place of birth Les Ulis, Essonne, France Height 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) Playing position Striker/Winger Spot on with the player, but think the link is bollocks.
  9. I ask this every time, but nobody answers. Why isn't it a Shearer shirt in the picture then? I'm a big fan of Frank Lampard, but I wouldn't dream of getting a Chelsea shirt with my name on it.
  10. I'm ITK about the Luque deal. I'm not claiming anything else.
  11. We don't know. We're only discussing what's been posted You'd hope so though.
  12. Yeah, forgot about that part. Would have been nice though. What a waste
  13. How do you know this is wrong? Because we paid them an initial fee which was more than £500k. If anything it's more we still owe £3m over the next few years. We've already paid over £6m for him though, so I doubt we're going to give them another £9m! Agreed, bold is a likely scenario. Doesn't make the entire thing a work of fiction then does it. To be fair, I only claimed two bits were wrong
  14. If any of you were reading carefully enough, this was actually reported early last week by a certain poster on here. I think you all missed it, but it was reported that Ashley was in Mallorca rather than attending the function he should have been at. Arango and Guiza would be nice. Although Guiza's left. D'oh.

  16. In exactly the same way that Roz could, or Faye can. He's a defender.
  17. Maybe so. I know he got a bad injury as soon as he left there, but can't really remember how many injuries he got in this country though. He was absolutely desperate to leave (as you say, could be about not playing first team football) but it's not like he's played that much since he left.
  18. Because he's playing 4-3-3? It makes sense to play a playmaker in that role (although it should have been Carrick ) but Coloccini isn't good enough in that role. We need him at the back anyway.
  19. I hope everyone realises that this thread needs locking.
  20. He played about 70 games in about 4 years, and left on a Bosman even though Arsenal wanted to keep him.
  21. I think our history with old injury prone players kinda shows that there's no chance he'd regain his form for us. He couldn't get away from England quick enough anyway.
  22. So the headline "Manchester City appoint Mark Hughes" leads you to believe that it's "most likely fake"? Jesus wept.
  23. He still has to pay £3m a year for the next few years to Deportivo for Luque - wrong Coloccini as a playmaker - wrong
