Is it bollocks. The Championship is the worst league in the country. Yep. League 1 is gonna be as bad next season too though. The PL is actually the easier of the 3.

How on earth are people comparing Gerrard with Barton, it's fucking daft, Barton has long, very long list of previous incidents. Barton has put out a cigar in a youth players eye! beat up his team mate at Man City training ground, been involved in actual fights in/out of clubs. Even looking at Barton's family, his brother has killed someone. Gerrard didn't even throw the first punch, and the story HAS been in the news for days and he has been getting criticism. Without wanting to defend Barton too much, and I've already posted this a million times, but you realise the situation with the cigar right? The lad tried to set Barton's shirt alight with his lighter, so got what he deserved. Funny how people ignore this fact. And to mention the murder, which had NOTHING to do with Joey Barton is quite frankly stupid. If a member of your family committed a crime, would you expect to be lambasted for it? No. Got what he deserved? Fair enough if Barton twatted him, but sticking a cigar in his eye is a bit far, in fact well over board. Shirt burning = laddish antics of rich footballers stubbing cigars in peoples eyes = nutcase you needs sectioning. Stubbing a cigar in the the eye of someone who is stupid enough to set fire to a shirt you're wearing? I'm not sure, but I think I'f be as pissed off if someone tried that with me.

Gerrard admitted the charges and then got found not guilty? Eh?

Do we have another recognised right back at the club, or will Ryan Taylor fill the role?

I met Lee Novak last year. Bit of a knob in my opinion. Almost joined Scunthorpe didn't he? Yep. Turned us down for the extra 1k a week.

Just seen this! What???!

Wtf either you or Niel said earlier in this thread that you've had a second bid accepted so what's changed?. Also i don't wanna hear anything about money being the reason as it's common knowledge about our strict wage cap. Looks like Naughton straight rejected you lot . Most players reject Everton to be fair. They even used to come here over them. However, I don't actually think Naughton will be that good for you tbh.

With a temper like that, no wonder his mrs was rumoured to have shagged around behind his back.

Bet he loves the fact that you're posting on a forum as him

28 goals in three years is appalling, i honestly believe i could do better myself. 28 goals for Martins isn't bad going considering what a completely thick stupid c*** he actually is. He probably goes through life thinking every day is Saturday. How many times do you need to be told that 28 goals is a stat that Djmattis plucked from thin air? Yes, it's actually 27 in 79 games isn't it?

I'm more than willing to help out, and certainly play in any games in and around Yorkshire (when Scunny aren't playing ) -

I know, but when EXACTLY are they sorted. The only reason I'm asking is that I know for a fact that one club knew their fixtures last week. Why the delay in announcing them? Perhaps their fixtures were done. The article suggests they work through all the requests and preferences in the build up to the release date. Most of Scunthorpe's "big" home games (I know, they're all big games) are midweek, so I guess the police had a big say in the fixtures too.

Out of interest, when were the fixtures actually put together? Was it last week?

Well he has been through it before (surely that's a sign). Funny, when I met Graeme Souness who recently was sacked at the time, and I told him how I was a Newcastle supporter - He APOLOGIZED to me that it went the way it did and how things didn't work out at the club. Thats the thing with Souness. As shit a manager as he is, and all of the stories of discipline etc, of all the stories about him with fans, 100% are about him are about him being a warm, likable and thoroughly decent bloke who will go out of his way for you. Same applies to Alan Smith though. He's a top lad, just a shame he's a shit player/

He was absolute quality for Hull the first time around.

My Scunny season ticket is costing £343. The price listed there is for the home end behind the goal (still standing) and is only a renewal cost. A new ticket in that stand would cost £272.

Hughton would tear the CCC apart
