Have you watched much football in this league? The players who actually move now and again tend to be the players getting the goals.
-
Enrique and Xisco. Xisco would tear this league apart tbh, and it's probably his level

Steve, I'm not sure you made Scunny that offer; does it apply to everyone? -

It's generally a team made up of fans who follow the team for away games, which means there are a lot more lower league fans as it costs a bloody fortune following premiership (cough) teams home and away. I know a lot of the lads who play in the NO matches go to away games too, so shouldn't be too hard to get games arranged. -
Michael Owen could probably buy us tbh.

Have we made a list of the 15 players on more than £50k that are still under contract?
-
Is Peasepud in the process of putting something together? Perhaps HTT has started an email too? (although by the time he finishes the club will have been sold....)
-
He's preparing the business plan to allow that return. As if NE5 and Freddie are two different people

As soon as Ashley put this in the hands of the banks he was taking a sideways step from handing Shearer the job. It's a kop out of the highest order and I think we need to start looking at alternative choice managers, though for the life I me I don't know where to start. Joe Kinnear probably. Ashley and Llambias are deluding themselves if they think any other half-decent manager won't say exactly the same as Shearer regarding what's needed to rebuild. Then again, someone like Kinnear will probably say nothing of the sort. What makes you think Ashley wants to rebuild? Administration looks more likely to me. I still don't see the point of that. How does administration help Ashley? I think he means the likely way this is heading. Ashley doesn't want to rebuild he wants out, but nothing is happening and were more likely to head in to Admin than find a buyer under Ashley due to Ashley's incompetence. That still doesn't make sense though. We only owe money to Ashley, so administration would be pointless, surely?

A 31.6% increase in wages? Surely that's not true.

Giggs has just scored. Anyone know who wore the 99 shirt in the Falklands?

Has this been posted?

so he wasn't a leader throughout his international career cos he didn't take a penalty ? and i would have both batty and southgate up before adams. Why? Batty had never taken a penalty before that miss in 1998 yet he still showed more leadership qualities in doing so than Adams, who was hiding in the centre circle at the time. Again it's back to 'lead by example' Maybe he just knew he was shit at penalties?

It was £3.80 a pint for the League 1 play off final. £9 a pint at Chelsea flower show two weeks ago.

I'm absoulutely certain we'll basically see 2 to 3 months of no progress whatsover, Ashley will still be the owner come the start of the season and JFK will be leading a under prepared, thread bare squad for the first game of the season away to Scunthrope. *Scunthorpe
-
I hate Madrid, but even the ref had the final outcome in that match. Pretty certain that if it wasn't down to refs it would have been a Man United v Chelsea final again last night tbh....
-
Scunthorpe have bid for him. Absolutely no chance of him going though.
-
Of course they can do worse than him.

Pre-season friendlies now all confirmed - see Championship guide sticky

You've clearly just made that up! Unless you've got a link of course? -
Pwnage: Barcelona bum Man Utd 2-0, win the CL
Shearergol replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
Barca shouldn't even be in the final, so I'm supporting Man United. -
I actually think signing him, along with Billy Sharp and Andy Keogh would be a great idea

They'll never get £5m for a league one striker. Not a chance in hell!
