shearere said they haven't spoken for a long time.....he didn't say we're not speaking anymore! I'm not basing it on that. I'm basing it on something else I've heard. They're certainly not on the best of terms.
-
Don't think so. Don't even think they're on speaking terms at the moment.
-
Just a shame he's not on speaking terms with Shearer at the moment, so no chance of getting him back as a coach.
-
I'm pointing out his rumour is shite. Ok?

Well, if it was a choice of the scum or us, most with ambition would be headed for the dark star, but I was told he was looking for £80k. As a said, that's too rich for Spurs' salary structure. Journo on a Spurs site is saying Diarra to Pompey tomorrow, £5.5m and £60k wages. Another one would have loved at WHL even if he was a scum reject. How many Arsenal regulars are on £80k per week like? A few apparently. Fabregas is the top earnerrumoured to be on £120k which had been Henry's salary, Toure and Gallas are both £90/100k, Hleb is £80k, there are very few who are poorly paid.. New shiny stadium, usually buy players for peanuts and sell them for a lot, they can easily afford to pay top dollar if they want to. What a load of shite. Arsenal have an extremely tight wage structure. Nobody is on anywhere near £120k a week.

Chris Mort: Criteria for the new man in charge

Why would anyone pay KK £20m over 3 years? Why would Keegan already know what he's being offered before meeting Ashley? -
Not another favourite? Eh? The way I tell them apart is, one is a f*cking lazy thick n***** and the other is Desailly. Bye then. How so? tbf he didn't actually say anything racist. ...what does "n*****" stand for? To quote South Park - "Nagger"

Benny Benitez: Parky 6 Benny 2 (Benitez watch.). Inter sack the waiter.

I don't disagree with that Some serious back-tracking from a certain poster after first saying he'd win them the title. -
It's going down well anyway S.S.R

Brazilian football is ALL about the youth system. They're skint. He didn't spend long enough at the club to develop one!

I dont know have they just someone on another forum said may be a wind up 606 by any chance? aye not true then? I've had Gillette Soccer Special on and they've not mentioned it at all.

We can start another thread tomorrow when Billy Davies declares his interest. "Billy Davies is now clear favourite to take over at Newcastle, Sky Sports News can reveal"
-
Who said that then? I was generalising. After Saturdays game, someone said the only thing not good about him was his distribution. the ONLY thing. 'Good' = 'f****** ace'? I can't remember the exact words, just the blind stupidity of the sentiments. We do this all the time. A player isn't totally s*** once, and suddenly he's great. Its typical of many teams, but especially us. I've noticed people do it with Steven Taylor quite alot actually. Isn't it just that some people don't see things in black and white? If Taylor has a good game, people say he's a good player (which he was in that game). If he has a poor game they say he's shit (which he was in that game). It's human nature. You can't just label a player shite, and never recognise when he plays well. Or have I missed the point?

What if Shearer gets to be NUFC`s next manager? some thoughts of mine
Shearergol replied to sparta's topic in Football
Man United have every chance of winning 3 competitions this season. They're at the top of their game. We're at a massive crossroads. Two completely different cases. -
Monaco wasn't it?
-
The defence were poor. The midfield were the root cause of the problem though. Oh yeah, if we had a good defence, Carr and Cacapa would be good enough. What? Carr and Cacapa aren't good enough by the way, but the midfield were to blame against Man United more than the defenders. That's not saying that I think our defenders are all fukcing ace by the way.

well said. Let's just ignore the CL final appearance. I see your final and raise you Boumsong. (Sorry to be a soppy get, but I wouldn't want someone running this club that wouldn't have give us a second thought in his playing career.) So basically you only want Keegan and Shearer? Why didn't you just say that?
-
Wasn't going to post it until you asked, but........
-
With plenty of financial backing yes. I personally don't think our squad is good enough for a top 6 finish, especially our midfield.

Does Deschamps have a history of falling out with his chairman? -
Thanks

as he says, souness would say that. But I expect you know best Leazes, from day one of the Luque signing I told people that Souness wanted Boa Morte, and Freddie decided he was over-priced. HE told Souness to buy Luque. That comes from a source NOT involved in NUFC, who has day to day dealings with Fulham. He has no reason whatsoever to lie. This isn't me making the claim now Souness has come out with it, it's on toonchat, or toontastic, and has been from the start. I don't trust Souness with 99% of what he says, but he's absolutely spot on about this situation. Overpriced as in the club didn't have the money at the time / his terms and the fee were too high, or overpriced as in Shepherd didn't rate him personally ? There is a massive difference between those 2 scenarios. I've said it before and I'll say it again. No manager worth his salt is a yes man, they would resign or force a sacking if they want their money, Souness is many things but he's no yes man. And he certainly didn't force a sacking. Quite simply, the idiot is in a complete state of denial about the mess he made of the job and always will be. That comment he made about only being allowed money to tart up the team must be the most stupid ever and nobody in the studio at the time was either bothered enough or knowledgeable enough to challenge him about it. We offered £3.3m. Fulham wanted £5.5m. We pulled out of the deal because Fred had been offered Luque and didn't want to pay £5.5m for Boa Morte. The club clearly had the money, and it never got to the stage of agreeing terms.
