Any transfer news like this seems to bring out this strange brain fuzz in people, when they seem to lose all logical sense and thought. "I don't know him, never seem him play, but it's a great signing, etc..."

I'm struggling to think of many players worse than Pattison who have played in the past 5 years. Fumaca was ages now, 8 years I would have thought. Michael Bridges springs to mind.

Any idea why he only played 125 times in 7 years at Lyon? That's less than 18 games per season on average, Dyer territory. Could do with losing a few pounds from the times I have seen him, and that was when he was fit.
