    John Carver

Sounds like English isn't Ryan Taylor's first language in that interview.
  4. Newcastle boss John Carver: "Even at 11 v 11 we were second best, we started brightly, and had a chance of a penalty but we don't get those so that's no surprise. We had our best chances when we went to down 10-men and the loss of Fabricio Coloccini for the next three games is even more disappointing. I've looked at it from four or five angles and I'm not totally convinced. "The biggest disappointment is missing our defender and captain for the derby game [against Sunderland on 5 April]. Our record is not good against Sunderland so we needed him for that. We will just have to deal with it."
  5. Quick translation? It's in English. Quick translation? It's in English.

Hardly epic but I'm in this one and it was plastered over the back pages of pretty much every paper in the country the next day. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/08_03/midoDM2608_468x303.jpg

    Players in public

    Colback in Popolo earlier tonight.
  15. They switched off at 3-0, even the fourth and fifth were just token gestures really. 21 minutes in and everyone on the pitch knew the result was decided. If they'd been really added they'd have had ten easily. Yep, conserving energy for Barcelona game. They could have scored 15+ if they went for it.
  16. No, he fucked off down the tunnel with most of the players. Only Colo, Krul, Haidara and Ryan Taylor acknowledged the away end after the game.
  17. Giving up and not even trying is unacceptable. Man City didn't get out of first gear.
  18. Just got back, absolutely disgusting performance. Embarrassing. Carver and players should be refunding the travelling support out of their own pocket.
  19. Why the fuck have I wasted fourty four quid on a ticket to this.
