  1. Well I need a new avatar. Can't be having any Pardew sympathising cunts there.
  2. Class. Don't suppose Cunt is a Danish surname? Could go German - Kuntz
  3. Subbed Cabaye for Perch as well IIRC Perch for Marveaux Bigirimana for Cabaye Obertan for Anita Might as well have thrown in the white towel.
  4. The tide started turning in the 7-3 defeat to you and really set in when we lost at home to Reading in the 12/13 season. Glad we could help Thanks for the links http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php?topic=93376.1350 http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php?topic=93486.1300

  6. No-one has ever rated him from what I can remember. People used to like him as a person until the incident of him slagging Ben Arfa and Keegan in a pub to one of our forum members. Link? http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,89834.msg4956833.html#msg4956833

  8. He generally gets the new manager bounce when he goes to new teams, hence why he's done well at Palace so far. The season we finished 5th was down to a lot of luck. We never had that many key injuries, we had two strikers in the form of their lives and managed to score an amazingly good goal to shot ratio. During that season we were also lucky that teams never managed to punish us as well as they should have done, also a few teams also had bad league seasons. A big factor that season though was that many of the players had never been trained by Pardew with his crap tactics, the same happened a few years ago where January transfer kept a us up. I guess that's it. So Palace should be crap next season or is he more likely to succeed there? You guys did buy a lot of technical players, which English managers aren't exactly the best at using. His football should work better at Palace if he's in-charge of transfers, surely? He's great at inheriting players who've been trained by people who actually knew what they were doing and doing well for the next year or so, using his initial con-man charm and momentum. Then once the old training methods wear off and he has to come up with new ideas the football deteriorates and he has no way to turn it around. It's also nailed on that he'll fall out with the flair players. He has at every club he's been at.
  9. £8m unreasonable? For a 1 in 3/4 striker? I know he's young and could turn out good I guess but that seems a reasonable offer this time. Maybe it's inappropriate because they still feel guilty for selling us Gouffran?
  10. Yeah. Thanks for that Bas Dost is coming to Newcastle, that'd be a brilliant signing And if it doesn't happen, ZOO will have a brilliant cover. Win Win Technically it's usually a case of good players leave and no-one comes in for another 12-18 months to replace them.

Bless. I assume this was a child's photoshop project?
  12. L'Equipe say he's in talks with Liverpool.
  13. Looks like his sale is finally happening then.
  14. Sell Sissoko, sign some cheap guff. Rinse and repeat until we reach the day that we have no saleable assets.
  15. Other clubs understand the value of the fans buying in and creating a deeper connection with the fans, particular younger ones who are living through a digital age and expect certain types of content for free. Of course we have absolutely no interest engaging these fans as all NUFC is interested in is short term gain. I would get it if they were monopolising it, and say giving it to some specific newspapers, but they've basically given this news for free, when they could have used it to actually communicate with fans without costing any money. Just a weird decision, since it doesn't even benefit them in anyway, and in fact, harms their future sales We also give Sports Direct free advertising instead of getting advertisers who will pay us money for the service. Nothing Ashley does makes any sense.
  16. Are they gonna have a joint thread forever?
  17. Wow they're going to get relegated on the balance sheet table.
