  1. aye he hadnt paid his bar bill.
  2. mine are along the lines of yours but more as well. HowaytheLads is right when he says be careful what you wish for, the grass isnt always greener however Im happy to take the chance. What we need to realise though is that this isnt going to be overnight or even in a season. Change is longterm, and to be done properly takes massive time, planning and resources. We are in for a long hard slog but hopefully the light at the end of that tunnel is bright and welcoming.
  3. Christ on a bike how many more of these morons are out there? As has already been said... I pay £500 to watch that shit and I feel entitled to let them know when I dont agree with the toss they're serving up, the crowd yesterday were spot on, got behind the team from the start. Its the team that should be putting their effort in, not us. When they piss it up then we'll let them know it. And that last sentence is crap as well, I remember going back in the days and the crowd were more vocal in letting the team know they were crap not less. Were you there in those days so it seems best way to support the team is by booing the team getting on individuals backs. Yeah loyalist supporters the world has ever had. Go to dictionary look up loyalty and support. Sorry we have come a joke on holiday when meet other fans how often hear not like it used to be , no atmosphere , how quick they turn on the players. My point is we need to get behind team , slag them off in the bar etc but do you think what were doing is going to do us any good Yea too bastid right I was, stood in the Gallowgate on a freezing Wednesday evening for 120 minutes to watch us get knocked out of the FA cup by Bournemouth. Game after game watching us fall apart against some bollocks side and making sure the players knew how we felt. Yesterday the fans did nothing wrong, we supported the team, sang like lunatics and then when they fell apart made sure they knew we werent happy with it. Im sick of papering over the cracks, pretending its all going to be ok. Its time we let them know in no uncertain terms how we feel. These are Premiership quality players (allegedly) who should be used to taking praise and stick when it happens.

  5. Yeah, but it'll be a hell of a lot more embarrassing if we go down
  6. Agree with everything except the last bit, one thing this club doesnt need is a man on the take... (allegedly)
  7. Both have to go ASAP, this club will decline more every day hes there. As someone at the match pointed out todays game should have been moved to tomorrow but Shepherd could only see the pound signs of Sky. Glenn has to go tomorrow and Fred as soon as possible, a change of ownership takes time it cant happen overnight but until it does we need out of this relegation battle and theres no way Roeder can take us out.
  8. Good thinking...... lets stick Duff up front again, I enjoyed that last week. We're playing Sheff Utd, one of the few teams doing worse than us, so lets go out for it. I cant be arsed to see us play another 0-0 3-4-3 Harper or Krul Taylor Bramble Ramage Duff Parker Emre Milner Rossi Le Sib Luque
  9. Quote of the year. You've got nothing else to say abou the topic I am sure you would have been one of the first here if not being the thread starter if Luque had NOT scored tonight to mouth off against him.. For some reason my little robotic friend is very very quiet on the subject both here and on TT.
  10. I dont think you can honestly say that teaching 10 year olds requires the same tactical nous as a Premiership first team can you? Regardless of how shit a manager he is (and he IS shit) he was a good youth coach.
  11. I bet we're also top of the "most comical injuries" list n'all
  12. and if the club rate him so low then they shouldnt even be putting him on the bench.
  13. Behave! bluebigrazz.gif nah sorry like I'd rather have seen a 9 million pound striker get a go first and then change it round if its not working than play a player out of his natural position.
  14. I dont think this is backing Luque its more having a go (rightly) at Roeder, yes, Luque hasnt done much but at the same time he started poorly, lost confidence and then didnt get a chance to play and prove he could do it. Yesterday was the ideal time to bring him on, Charlton didnt have a hope in hells chance of scoring so why not drop a midfield player and bring Luque on (even drop Duff back a bit to cover the gap). Our wingers were doing their bit but the finishing wasnt happening. I for one would like to see Luque given another chance rather than playing a make-shift centre forward (no matter how much he smiles when told hes playing out of position). Frankly he should have been on from the start, never mind with 20 minutes to go. Making one substitution for fresh legs sake (after 83 minutes) rather than a change of plan shows a total lack of initiative or thought from Roeder.
  15. Thanks for that, mate. BTW Souness had a decent track record, better than O'Neills in fact. At the point of signing him he was one of the very few managers below us in the league. That in itself, should have told Shepherd to stay clear. You're being influenced by gejon, here. Not sure why you're posting this like. I hope you don't think I was pleased when Souness was given the job, like. Or that I think he was a good appointment. Just pointing out to the head in the sand crew who think it's easy that he had a better track record than O'Neill, and there are more than a few who would spurt all over the place had Fred gone for O'Neill. My post was in no way having a go at yours, Im sure I know your stance on Souness What I was saying is that regardless of past glories, taking a manager whos about to be sacked from one of the few clubs doing worse than yourself to replace one of the most respected managers in the world (and then pay Blackburn for the priviledge!) wasnt a shrewd business move from the fat one.
  16. believe it or not though, football management isnt just about buying players, its the 90 mins of a game where a manager is meant to do his main work. In that time Roeder looks at his most clueless, he doesnt dictate the game, get messages out to the team and hasnt heard of changing a game by making substitutions. His one attempt was to replace a winger with another winger. Why have Luque sat on the bench? get him on and see if he can shake it up. You can virtually time a game on Roeders substitutions, when he replaces Nobby (as he does every game) then you know its nearly time for the 4th official to hold up his sign.

  18. Bumped for the benefit of omarse and the rest, who criticise but include no substance to their posts......... At least someone has had a go at point number 1, it would be good if omarse had a go at all 3. There's no point in the moaning bastard having a go at point 1, he knew in advance that Dalglish would fail so that's why he wouldn't have appointed him. 1. Dalglish appeared to be the right choice at the time. 2. If you dont choose based on track record then you use whatever criteria Shepherd used to select the last two cos neither could be on track record. 3. Dalglish wasnt a shite appointment
  19. well we need never worry about Harper getting injured then, Pav Im leaving you on the bench son, Damiens gonna have a go between the sticks.

.....is a fat greasy useless workshy twat. oh sorry, thought it was a complete this sentence in 20 words or less competition.
  21. Says the man who loves them so much he pissed off 12k miles away. Not going to have a go about armchair fans and all that but when you start getting your arse over for games then you can call the rest of us.
