I wouldn't expect a t*** (or dicksplash ) like Riley to give decisions to away teams if the home teams are Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea. He is a very good referee technically, but he's a showboat and loves being in the limelight. The c*** has ALWAYS presided over some of the most baffling decisions against us when playing away to these teams. I'm sure he's fucked over teams like Villa, Everton, etc... plenty at those grounds. He's a bottler. the c*** -

Our problems are clearly in midfield, and not at the back. We don't have the incisive midfielders who work to cut off the supply lines to forward positions of the opposing teams. Need to get shot of Butt sharpish. Milner is NOT a f****** winger. Milner should play in the middle. His technique is superb, but his obvious lack of pace is a massive hinderance, and his crossing is nowhere near as consistent as it should be. IMO in order to get the best out of Milner as a footballer, he must be used in a different position somewhere central. He's tenacious and doesnt give up the chase. He has a very quick thinking football brain, but doesnt have the twinkle toes that let him turn and show defenders a clean set of heels. IMO would make a very good central midfield player, or play in the "hole" in support of a big strong striker. I'm not picking on Milner here...but in my eyes he is a major reason why we have been so poor in the last while. Being the most technically gifted player who has a non-stop engine, he is always the outlet when we're under pressure....and more often than not we lose the ball because of his limitations. so much more to analyze and go through....can't be arsed. as has been said, the revolution starts here. the arsenal games have been good, as they showed KK what we're lacking in comparison to one of the best footballing sides out there. I hope that KK had his eyes on Arsenal more than on our players in these last 2 matches, and thinking up how to get us playing like that. -
No thanks. Arsene can keep him.

I believe I have already done that. Apologies but I thought I'd read the post. Unless someone had quoted it? Appreciate your thoroughness as mods and admins. You guys keep this place safe from terrorists, WUM's and spurs fans

Why can't the post just be deleted and we all move on with our lives?

Beauty spot!! be nice

Fee? Hope it won't be any more than 5 million (+/- Ameobi)

I don't understand this line of thought though? Even if we don't go for Riise we still need a left back. Enrique is the only one we have isn't he? Or do people not mind Zoggy back there anymore, should Enrique get crocked or suffer a dip in form? I think from here on out Zoggy should concentrate on mastering as many attacking positions as possible and no more defensive ones. correct

Do we never learn from buying top 4's rejects? awful player, thunderbolt goals every blue moon does not make him a good option and 2-3million maybe. Aye 3 million is about a good price, if we were going for him in the summer. Seeing as it's the winter window, and we need the reinforcements, prices will be inflated in any case, whoever we go for. IMO it represents less of a risk than signing a player from abroad.
-
Thing is, it makes me laugh when loads of people on here constantly complain that we dont shoot from distance, and don't score enough goals from different positions. Here we are with a chance to sign someone who can easily chip in with 4 or 5 goals a season from LB, and can help KK's game plan by constantly having teams under pressure with his distance shooting....and we're turning our noses up at it. A confident shooter like Riise can cause a few keepers to spill the ball, hence creating more chances for our forwards to tuck a few in.
-
And if Enrique - Jah forbid - suffers a broken leg? Would you rather have Riise at left back, or would you rather have Ramage/Carr/Taylor? or use Duff or Zog in defensive positions again? IMO we can easily afford the 6 million figure for a player like Riise. He's by no means a world beater, but at the moment he would represent very good business.
-
One word on this: NO No no no no no no no no no no no no no no Thanks
-
Sorry...but those dismissing Riise as shit haven't a clue what they're on about. Yes he hasn't had the best time of it the past 2 seasons. But fuck me, i'd have him if he can return to his earlier form! Still at quite a good age, and is excellent going forward. Do you even remember who our manager is??? Kevin fucking Keegan ladies and gents. Who said anything about defending? Lad who can run, shoot, has a left foot, knows the league and can play a variety of roles. IMO a snip at 6 million.

Mort on Redknapp: Wanted to go thru the process bit by bit...as the corporate people we are. Harry was on the shortlist. Met Arry on friday afternoon for the first time. Got the impression he was settled on the south coast. Won't mention the others on the shortlist so as not to embarrass them. Regarding the offer, talked about terms etc...with 'Arry (including finances). Didn't think he was right for the club in the end.

Mick: Sigh of relief Chris? Chris: No no sigh of relief! Excitement

enough of this shit!!!!

naah he's shite

Unpredictable, you say? Two words: Faustino. Asprilla. Personally think we should get him back to shoot people and potentially deal drugs to opposition players. IMO Oba Martins, Jimi Milner, Taylor and Enrique will be the players who will most benefit from KK. Especially Martins, as he's a confidence player. If KK can remind him of what a good player he actually is, we will see a completely new player next season IMO.

G Barry M Arteta R Dunne J O'Shea R Quaresma S Wright-Philips D Bentley P Crouch Would all do for me between now and summer Fuck me! It's like FM all over again!!
-
they all play the same position what would be the point Not necessarily. Bentley can play in the center as an attacking mid. The other two can interchange positions on the pitch. When you watch Man U play, you don't see Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez all stick to one position throughout the game. All 3 are clever footballers who would rip teams apart. Add to that Zoggy, Duff and Milner, and we're set. Viduka, Owen and Martins can finish things off
-
If I were Keegan, I would actually go all out to bring in Bentley, Wright Phillips and Quaresma all in one go. It would frighten the shit out of the rest of the league, and make Ashley's intentions quite clear.
-
.com confirming the same. Press conference will be internal, and the ground is NOT open to the public. thank fuck for that

Whats your fucking problem soopafan? Zoggy's past it, and you know it. Get rid of you toon tinted specs mate is my advice
