He's not just responsible though, he's accountable. He's only accountable to Fat Ash though. Doesn't matter what we think.

Honestly I'd still have him for next season, theres no one currently unemployed who is that appealing to me (and thats the realistic front for a mew manager) And another season of anti-football is more appealing than getting anyone else in?

Not sure how he's going to make sure the result "hurts the players". More set penis practice?

I might have got the formation wrong, but I couldn't have been far off the cunt's team talk! He's fucking clueless man!

Or. Having a go at them having a go at Pardew, and then getting the same stick back and crying like a baby. Get over it man. It's been completely two way traffic though and somehow both sides don't seem to see this. Those who were against him are getting a bit precious now "But, but you said mean things to me before " as if those against Pardew weren't giving out just as much s*** to those who weren't. Not on a personal level, and I haven't been getting abuse from you. But I got ignored the other day by a poster for voicing my opinion (and being right as shown). For me it the more the merrier. We need Pardew out by June. And how, exactly, are you/we going to do that?

Absolutely Had you, or anyone on here, actually heard of him before he landed in Southampton? Yes if you follow football , guillem ballague has been going on about him for years. Not a la liga fan I guess? You are probably one of those who never heard of Michu before he arrived The reality of our situation is that the owner and board are just as ignorant of foreign managers as I am, so it would be a fucking huge leap of faith to even dream of them employing someone of that ilk. A less risky proposition, with experience of the Premiership, would be Laudrup, but that isn't going to happen either. As depressing and frustrating as it is, I'm afraid we're stuck with Pardew for the foreseeable future.

Rubbish! Ashley is the one who makes the decision of who manages the club, the fan's opinions are totally irrelevant to him. We all know Pardew is almost certain to be here next season.

‘Paolo Di Canio has had three good training days full pelt with his team, I will have literally none. None,’ said Pardew. ‘My players will warm up, go back into the changing room and everything else will be on the board. We’ve got to get our message right on that board.’ http://i47.tinypic.com/mrvjvt.jpg Keep it tight for 70 minutes and then find a way!

One of the unavoidable consequences of Pardew's "gameplan" yesterday was to keep the crowd quiet for 70 minutes. Can you believe that, a manager playing at home, requiring a 2 goal win and he knows his "tactics" will keep his own crowd quiet? And he tells the opposition, in several interviews, exactly what he hopes to do, thus allowing them to ease themselves into the game with minimal pressure. Fucking unbelievable! We'll never know now, but I would much rather he had sensibly attacked the game, got the crowd going and put their defence on the back foot from the off. They did look very shaky when we did attack with any intent. Shame we had to wait 40 minutes for that to happen.
  15. He's entitled to be nervous when his passing options to his fellow defenders are so limited. He looked really confident on the ball in his first couple of games, but Pardew has likely told him not to fuck about with it and get rid. Shame, because he had a reputation as an excellent footballing centre back when he won the French league last year. Probably too early to make the assumption, but perhaps another example of skill, flair and ultimately confidence being "coached" out?

Good point about Carver. Definitely think he's a weak link. Either not a very good coach and/or too much of a yes man to work effectively with Pardew. You definitely shouldn't be given an 8 year contract if you're part of the backroom staff. I'm sure Pardew would agree, as it limits his options as well. Things will, if they haven't already, become stale long before those contracts are up.

Well that's fucking that then. Close the forum. He's here for all eternity. We have a winner. Love your passion mate, but get yourself one of these, relax and try to enjoy the ride! http://www.homeandgardengifts.co.uk/images/thumbnails/37/346/317/Large_Stress_Ball.jpg

You can bleat all you like regarding Pardew, but the fact is he will be our manager next season. Compute?

Perhaps the vote should be a simple in or out at the end of the season? That would be much more informative than the current options. Note: Assuming dirty mackems and other spoilers didn't get involved.

Great wind ups normally hit a nerve, and I guess Ronnie's qualifies.

Ronnie talking bollocks as usual, but interesting that all the usual suspects came out in very defensive mode.

    Papiss Cissé

IM not sure if he meant that first touch. He does seem to turn and run as soon as it flicks up. Could be wrong though, it is a pretty poor video. Looking forward to watching it later, regardless. He still reacts quickly to it but im not sure if he meant. I need to see it again tbh. No doubt he meant it. The movement is proactive not reactive.

Pardew's HT team talk: "I said to the team we just need to find a way and we did."
