It's irrelevant "how long we give him" because our opinion doesn't register with the owner. He'll do exactly as he pleases with our club, and that's likely to be sticking with Pardew. This reality makes it so difficult to support the club/team at the moment because with this squad we all know we could do so much better with a decent coach.
-
No he doesn't. He actually got us playing well at times in the last months and we started getting results again. Thing is, he's very focused now on the Europa League and, who can blame him? It's a great chance we have to bring a trophy to SJP finally after all those years. No-one will care if we survive by 1 single point in the league but won the Europa League. Thing also is, that we have two very winnable home games now in a row that should see us getting 6 points and therefore bing absolutely safe. You can't just switch good form on and off, good play brings good results, which breeds confidence. No doubt Pardew will go to Lisbon on a damage limitation exercise after that shite, and I'll be amazed if we don't get spanked. Praying for better, but it's not going to happen under this clown.

And what's the one common denominator? Pardew and his "coaching" team!
-
Why sink to that level? It needs to be cleared out, not trigger more violence and injuries. If someone goes out to deliberately maim one of our players, there needs to be consequences. Referees aren't prepared to protect them so they need to look out for each other. Don't think you can put the Wigan kid in the same bracket as Cattermole just yet, but I do think there was some intent to hurt/damage in the challenge today. Or Martinez would have us believe it was down to youthful exuberance. Fucks sake!
-
There's no chance of the FA taking action. What happened to de Jong when he broke Hatem's leg in two places? Fuck all! However, Carver will get a hefty fine and a touch line ban. Let's hope the kid can make a full and speedy recovery.
-
Straight leg, studs up, knee high = leg breaker/career threatening injury. No fucking excuses!
-
What a Cronk of shit. 2 of our players suffer broken legs in recent seasons and the refs don't even give us a free kick??? Don't come on here trying to defend the cunts!
-
Thought the lad interviewed quite well tbf. Honest. I don't dispute that, but if he, and all the others saw it, why didn't the officials ffs!!!! Because they're terrible. Terrible i accept but are they blind. I never can get my head around them seeing the same thing as nearly everyone else and getting it wrong. Baffling bad ref's we have. Bent???
-
Pardew needs to pull his finger out and get the team organised and fired up. We should be going out and battering these cunts! Get Marveaux in the middle, Tiote and Perch haven't got a clue offensively.
-
Never worried on their quick counters and the ball played over the top when he's there. He's so quick, he just hoovers it up so easily.
-
Marv i think. Marvellous, marvellous Marveaux!
-
Marveaux's delivery was excellent all night. Much better dead ball delivery, other than direct free kicks of course, than Cabaye's.
-
With the squad we have now we should imposing our game on the opposition. With Pardew it will always be safety first, stop them playing, and then see what we can do. He's out of his depth but, I'm afraid, we're lumbered with him for the forseeable future. But if I could give him one piece of advice, it's to STOP LUMPING IT!
-
Fuck England. Guaranteed to come back limping.
-
I'd prefer it if he was out of work to be honest!
-
Owen on the bench. Let's hope we don't see a hand rubbing celebration today!
-
Fuck off man! He's looked our most potent striker.
-
I think he could play anywhere he wants based on last night. Big, strong, pacy, good touch and composed on the ball. Obviously, with his physical attributes and experience he's best suited to CB, and I'd like to see him there asap as he showed he was quick and that's what we're missing back there.
-
That's all well and good, but what happens when the situation calls for it? He tried a couple of long balls last night and they were woeful. Get it and give it as he's done before.
-
Let's turn it around then. Get Colo out because he's obviously not in form. Better?
-
Why not just play your most in form pairing? Colo's a good back up on his current form. The Colo bashing is going too far now. He's hardly been at the races all season. Patently obvious his head wasn't right before his 'personal problems' were mentioned, and he hasn't looked much better since. Like I said, good back up to MYM and Saylor.

Wouldn't be surprised if Carr has had some input.
