Wormy, Talksport talk about sport all the time its just that some shows on there are not about 100% sport. Dunno if anyone was listening to Talksport this afternoon but Newcastle fans took an absolute pounding. Lee Ryder from the Chronicle was on discussing the Hughton contract situation and made a remark about Newcastle fans being more passionate than elsewhere and the Geordie Nation etc etc and it stirred up a right hornets nest about Newcastle fans being deluded and Jason Cundy saying we think we have a 'monopoly on passion'. League is far more important. Don't care about any cups, cannot risk a single injury to a first teamer. That's a really shocking attitude you have in my opinion tbh. Cause we've won like millions of domestic cups since '55 so we can afford to just fuck them off every year. I fear injuries just as much as you but fuck man we've got to put everything we have into winning a cup aswell as staying in the league.

The atmosphere is definitely better for the Mackem game however the 130 kick off means it won't be as good as if it had been a 4 oclock kick off.

Does anyone else feel slightly physically sick when they look up to see a couple of thousand red and white shirt cladded filthy Mackems present in our ground? I might just be a little weird like but it does it gets me quesy.
