Draw. 'Battle of the flip flops' -
Nah we are still short of real quality in central defence and of creativity in midfield. Agree that striker(s) are definite priorities along with full backs and trying to ensure we get Kenedy (I'm assuming Dubravka is a gimme), but lets not kid ourselves that we have enough in the other areas. It will take maybe two/ three windows to address all the squad deficiencies imo.

They had a brief discussion about him on Stellings show today. Le-Tiss thought he would be valued about 12m, the others thought double that. Given the valuation of shite like that Southampton guy Carillo (sp) Mind you big nose twas the only one who predicted us losing today as well.
-
Southampton are piss poor. Hardly any player did themselves justice today. Lemina looks gash. Hate Wemberly semi finals Thought Bakayoko looked equally as crap as for Chelski well mind. Hazard playing for a move away? Willian looked extremely displeased with Conte's decison...cheeky bid for him as well as Kenedy please Rafa No idea why the commentator kept calling Kante, Conte? is that the correct pronunciation or was he just being a twat.

Ah home sweet home. (Not that I live in a skate park). I assume this park is in the old Miners Welfare grounds.

Could be Dele Alli your'e describing, or Ashley Young or.... Quite a few charmless buggers in the league at the moment.

Oh this is delicious. Delicious.

Once tonight's mega Euromillions draw is all mine then Stifler has the green light from me.

Perfect. He is coming out fighting already. This is the start of a new chapter for us. Goddamn it I'm so pleased he is here

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

I think the whole Wenger thing actually strengthens Rafa's 'play'. We know he is a great political player and strategist, for want of a better phrase. I think Rafa will use this news to bolster his own position here. A few carefully phrased words to make it clear his loyalty is with us BUT that the owner must back him and show same ambition etc. All this against the backdrop of safety, a decent league finish, takeover rumours that are still floating about and an owner who is either going to have to put up or shut up/shove off. I trust Rafa to play this well. -

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham

Pretty much this. Was a great and his legacy is there if tainted by his own stubbornness of last several years. An innovator and leader of his time. No idea who should/ will replace him: hell of a job to take on ala Fergie proportions in some respects. Oddly not worried about Rafa wanting the job. I think he is ours (providing no MA utter clusterfcuk behaviour). Can maybe see a Rodgers type? Good luck to him for the future anyway .....Arsene that is not horse tooth fae Glasgae -
This x 100. Could be an interesting watch though Sol Campbell seriously needs help. As does anyone getting 'angry' on his behalf.
-
Could say the same about a fair few of the lads recent form and their earlier season performance levels. Have to believe it's all due to the Rafa effect, better coaching and lengthier exposure to his management, too many of them having turned things around to be a coincidence. Maybe 1 player will 'fluke' a good change in form for a while, but for more than 3/4/5 players to be doing it has to be down to the coaching? A sensible summers strengthening for support and healthy competition and it could well see Shelvey really step up permanently to the level he is well capable of playing at on a consistent basis.
-
It's for the best and your lucky to have blocked him from your memory. Utter horse shite. JDT was a cracking wee player who sadly was the wrong fit for the position he was needed to play, would be perfect #10 now for us (if he wasn't 74).
-
Whilst being a poor decision for England at least it means he gets some rest in the summer and can come back a lot fresher for us for the start of next season. Our gain.
-
I think I would add a left back as a must as well. Dummett has done well but better competition and cover there is essential imo.
-
The best man for the job bar none. The stars aligned when we got him (or rather HE joined us out of choice!) Amazing to think he is our manager. Simply amazing.

So a £300m+ bid will/should seal it then? -
If you’re English, over-35 or so and don’t hate Liverpool then there’s something wrong with you. If you’re under 35, have ever been on RAWK and don’t hate Liverpool then there's something wrong with you. Pretty much this. The BBC ramming the love for the 'special fans' and 'special nights' at Anfiled makes bile rise. I think for a majority of fans it would go Man U, Liverpool then the rest in terms of dislike and disdain.

Speak for yourself you self righteous twat

5-1 Citeh please. Come on stick it up these scouse feckers.

He's a decent player and imo the only one of our forwards we should be keeping. Gayle is not good enough for PL, Mitrovic is well Mitrovic, No idea re Slimani whether he is worth a punt or not, and well Joselu bless him. Armstrong out on loan again. At least two strikers needed in summer window imo ( if we keep Gayle or Mitrovic as well)

Don't want Fulham up. Far too much potential for them to be decent, making next season tougher for us. Some shite like Cardiff and Boro will do nicely thanks. Wolves are gonna be taking a few scalps next season if they spend even remotely sensibly.
