I'm lost here. So Rafa is valued so highly by the motley crew that run us that they want to extend his stay..Yet they have failed to show any signs of backing him in consecutive transfer windows, and relationships have seemed strained between them for months. The proposed new owners planning a takeover have openly said he is the man for them and him staying is an integral part of any potential deal... The goons who run us currently are either Machiavellian geniuses or inept fuckwits: I'm getting baffled by the whole bloody lot of it.

Wait till about 630 tonight mate

If we go down there is absolutely no guarantee that we will be back up anytime soon. Some clubs in the championship are outspending us now and some have far more ambitious and enthusiastic owners than we are lumbered with. I fear for us if we go down, which is highly likely given zero transfer activity in this window, no takeover happening and the very real possibility of Rafa not being with us too much longer (I don't think he will walk, I think he will be sacked). This takeover was vital. Without it we are fooked imo. -
You know when your career has hit rock bottom when there is a genuine debate being had over whether you are more or less effective or better than Joselu.

Defeat by 3 goals. Fancy 4-1. -
Tbf I was actually quite excited by the signing we made when we went down, Ritchie, Gayle, Yedlin, Diame, I know they didn't work out but even Lazaar and Gamez we're fairly exciting for where we were at the time. If this takeover does happen then mate I would seriously get down to the docs asap. If you were excited by that lot then what we potentially may sign may not be too good for your ticker without medical support.

A screenshot of an anonymous text. Is all it took.... -
Behind him but my faith in him is being tested. This was a poor showing today from all concerned and he cannot escape a degree of criticism. We have got to be more expansive at home against the weaker sides. I can understand those who are losing faith or have had enough. We know where the blame lies but in all honesty if you are a top manager and motivator you should be performing better than this. Just praying for this takeover to be real and near completion otherwise it will all be in vain anyway.

Nailed on. No takeover = relegation.

All in all the lad has been disappointing in his time with us thus far imo. He has talent no doubt, but I'm not sure he has the mentality to really be a top player. That being said, with our squad being as poor as it is, he is one of our most gifted players. Unreliable and inconsistent, but still way ahead of some of our shite. IF the takeover happens then he will hopefully be surplus to requirements or relegated to a squad player sooner rather than later. No way does he start for a top 6 side imo unless he sorts his head out.

Newcastle United v Brighton & Hove Albion - 30/12/2017 @ 15.00

Must win game. 2-1 to us, nervy but I think we will do it. No idiot refereeing decisions please. -
Great at managing great players as well, not championship players that we have. Doubt we can get much more out of them. I honestly think with a PL standard keeper we'd be nowhere near where we are now Which beggars the question why get rid of Krul? Not the best but a darn sight better than the two we have.

Two straight reds for me. Kane can be nasty cunt as well but Alli takes it to another level. De Bruyne is awesome, truly world class. A pleasure to watch.

Agree with that. Rafa is still here if we get some cash to spend in January or he is off if we don't and he is expected to muddle on with the shower of shite we have in the squad imo. No takeover imminent and Rafa is gone I reckon.
