"Good luck with the book!" Going to watch Father Ted all day now Very friendly bunch in the pic behind...Lad holding his mates hand in top right hand corner. Lots of touchy feely going on...
-
is the correct answer, sadly.
-
Wonder if Charnley is a giver or a taker.
-
Has promise but is young, inexperienced and could do with a senior pro to guide him. Lad will be a good player given time and good coaching imo. Lets hope Rafa is the man to do it.

Newcastle United vs. Liverpool - 01/10/17 @ 4.30pm (Sky Sports)

Agree sadly. Loss by at least two goals. -
Yep we certainly can and the lad has done far better than many would have thought but when weighing him up we have to be honest, some of the chances he has missed have cost us already, despite his desire and honesty. he certainly has added to the way we play but his job is to hit the onion bag and he isn't.
-
Don't think there is really. No one is slating the lad, or the majority aren't anyway. it's clear he has ability but he is simply playing as his valuation suggests. Missing chances that could and should put us ahead as he isn't anywhere near a good enough striker to be 1st choice at a club in the top flight. He's honest and will score a few but his limitations and level of 'class' is pretty obvious sadly. He's been far better than I expected but still way short of the answer to what we need. As are the other two unfortunately.
-
And that is the sad and brutal truth of it. Seem a likeable bunch: Gayle, Joselu and the rather eccentric Mitrovic. All perfectly honest and hardworking, but each with their demons and each not good enough to be first choice in a top division at this stage in their careers. It's a damn shame but the difference between comfortably staying up and winning games we should be is as simple as someone reliably putting the ball in then net, rather than a foot either side of the post or over the top. Let's hope between them they can have enough patches of luck and being on their games to do the business.

Agree, the lad is top class on his day, which is more often than not. I think he will move abroad myself. \I can't see him staying at Spurs, I think this team will break up after they win nowt again this season. It's whether he ends up at a Manchester club or in Spain for me. Hope it is Spain personally (for England as well as protecting Shearers record.)

Not the 2 points that most of their weekly predictions had us on? Stelling had us down for a 2-1 defeat last week as 'Newcastle are in turmoil'... Utterly clueless morons, all on the old pals act gravy train...
-
-
For me he has improved our team and our team performances. Lad will score a few, and miss a few but he is far better than I had anticipated and fair play to him. Seems a likeable, good sort as well. Good start for him imo.

To be fair that's true about most clubs fans

Fancy a win here today for us....... feeling rather confident about it which is worrying. -
The manager is not the issue. It is if it's a lick spittle cunt like Pardew or Carver: not main issue of course but big part and I hope if it is the return of the king or his like he gets fucking zero support. Hound the cunt as much as possible. He will be Mikes puppett and a legitimate target. imo
-
Heartbreaking all this in all honesty.
-
Makes zero sense in footballing terms and I cannot imagine Rafa would be happy with this... It's happening then.
-
His last manager's job in Finnish top flight ended like this: He sacked two of his assistants Same day the owner said he had no power to sack anyone and sacked Kuqi instead. One of the assistants was hired as the manager. That's the way the Kuqi crumbles I guess. I chuckled.

Agree. We can still salvage the shitfest of this seasons transfer window with 1 real upgrade of striker. In an ideal world I would love a keeper and LB but that ain't gonna happen, barring Ashley undergoing biblical proportions of a conversion in the next day or so. If we can also offload Siem and even 1 or 2 others then, whilst being far from ideal, there will be some minor merit in it all. Of course we don't get nice things so it's all moot probably.
-
Of all our strikers I never expected that he would be one of the possible ones we sold or would consider selling (barring a ridiculous offer). If he is to go then it has to mean an upgrade. To sell him without any plan for an immediate replacement that offers something more would be stupid in the extreme. That would effectively leave us with Mitrovic, Joselu and Perez? Armstrong away till January I assume... We have to have someone in the pipeline to even be considering it.
-
Hopefully can spur Shelvey on to be the player we know he can be, rather than the arse he is at times.. Sounds like we have a decent player on our hands.
-
Always nice to see a player fulfil their potential...especially if he's ours! Hope he and Lejeune can form a solid partnership and wall...we need it in front of any of our existing keepers.
-
Delighted for him. Hope this starts a turn around now, in everything...praying.
