  1. Met some good Villa lads over the years. Had a cracking side with Mortimer, Cowans et al a real joy to watch.
  2. It's a fucking disgrace what is happening to Villa. sacking a mascot ffs... Odd what has happened to football since the 'money men' took a genuine and concerted interest eh.
  3. 'Massively to blame' imo Foluwashola. It epitomises this march to 'super' teams in it's current format. The result being an inevitable meaningless existence for the 'small' teams and the eventual killing of competitive national league football. It's where it is headed no doubt. 12-20 teams in a @Superleague, no relegation, no admittance and an American style franchise format. Godawful. It will satiate the desires of TV and the billionaires who control it for a while though and who gives a fuck when TV eventually moves on to something else? those 'fans' will simply move on to something else as well.
  4. It's the format I can't abide. Nowt against watching great players. but lets not destroy competitive league football whilst doing it eh? European cup for national league winners, UEFA cup for 2nd and 3rd placed sides and a cup for domestic cup competition winners. Increase competition and reduce the likelihood of ending up with massive financial disparity between teams. I'm sure you will be happy watching ManU play Barca every weekend and Liverpool play Juventus mid week...it's the stuff dreams are made of.
  5. Probably more to do with the games not being on terrestrial TV and the English teams doing badly than any other reason. It's a brilliant competition and should be left the way it is It should be returned to the way it was. Knock-out format and back to the three competitions. Cannot abide the CL concept. fucking awful. Epitomises the whole drive to 'super' teams and the Euro Super league.
  6. The girl version (yep it was that bad) of our lot entitled themselves BAG. Happily called themselves BAGS Oh the 60s and 70s, what great times to be a teen.
  7. Lose to Bournemouth at home and its pretty much game over. Well it's not, really. Mathematically you are right its not over. Mentally it would be. I have no faith, earlier in the season the Watford game was the "must win" after a difficult run of games. We failed that test, nothing has changed ever since then to make me think season can be saved. Its been a very slow car crash. Everything has aligned for failure. Yep. there is no way McCfuckwit hasn't targeted the Bournemouth game to the side as a 'must win' 3 pointer. Lose that and we are mentally shot (well more shot than we already are.) Tonight could set us up nicely and give huge confidence boost....who the fuck am I kidding!
  8. Aaah the heady days of indiscriminate violence based on where you lived LOL Ditto, was never involved (other than taking a few beatings from KAB and LBAB at Toon matches oddly enough!).
  9. ...and yet you continue to carry on the conversation by presenting the view that you don't get it. So you want Sunderland to win at the weekend again? Think the vast majority who cheered Sunderland on last night are forrins. Not surprising. I thought you 'got it'? Not sure what you're on about with the forrins remark like, I'm from Killingworth. Bloody hell never had you down as a KAB, KI originally Burradon here BAT
  10. Sooner it happens the better imo. It has been coming for a long time and if this season could be repeated ('big' clubs missing out on the CL) then it would accelerate it imo. Let them fuck off and have the largely disinterested, neutral masses watch them on satellite TV till the cows come home. or the actual attending crowds dry up which would be the killer for them. A world without ManU and Liverpool...calloo callay:)
  11. Perennial 1) Manchester United - Vile, vile, vile. Never met a decent ManU fan. Ever. They don't exist. Sooner the European super dooper league is created and we get rid of these c***s with their hordes of norn Irish, Scottish and assorted menagerie of fans the better...Oh and Bobby Charlton. c***. 2) Sunderland. 3) Liverpool a slightly less vile version of ManU 4) Leicester. Irrational and for no discernible reason I can remember, save for a miserable night spent there. Just have always hated them. Currently Crystal Palace - Pardew. West Brom - Pulis. UGGH.
  12. Will never forget Southampton and the games we lost to those fuckers whilst schnozzle was playing for them. UGH. Seems to be a lot of love for them, hope they rot in pigshit personally. Arsenal (due to Wenger, once he goes fuck em) Bournemouth (due to Howe.....see above) Norwich. Cos the first lass I ever fancied (except Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly) and kissed was from there. The rest are all degrees of mehness and hatred.
  13. Very sorry to hear that VI. Deepest condolences to all your friends family and loved ones...
  14. Bit rich of that deluded fat cunt to have a pop at anyone for talking shite. Two despicable characters.
  15. Looks likely that Boro will fuck up automatic imo. Shame as they are a decent side to watch and I like Karanka. Hull and Burnley for the top two for me. Anyone think that maybe it for Leicester too? Top four is still a tremendous achievement (although I fucking hate the cunts personally), think Spurs are gonna win it myself. Which I would be happy with as Pochettino is a good little manager too. Arsenal as usual showing no backbone.
  16. Massive two games coming up. Must win at home to Bournemouth and IF we can get a point tonight...happy days. I fear a loss away (obviously) and a draw at home
  17. Draw was a decent result for us to be honest. More teams 'sucked' into this the better, and with our games in hand IF we can pick up something tonight, we could be looking at last nights draw being a very good result. (Bournemouth winning was a tad annoying,)
  18. I cry every time Colback plays but for very different reasons
  19. Stannah stair lift? far too soon to start thinking of this game for me. I want some pleasant days before we return to the grimness of existence.
  20. High praise for him to say he is..okay. He's not as bad as many of us feared but far from being a 1st choice keeper (still a number 3 for me) and the proverbial mile from being "better than most 1st choices in the Prem".
  21. But what do you really think Ron?? Wonder if this Tony lad is some distant relative of mine, shall have to do some fishing. Have to say she is nowt special.
  22. One goal so far in the 6 matches that Sky have as there super six Dat entertainment of the FA cup and championship. and west brom score
