Absolutely It wouldn't have mattered quite so much had we taken some of the gilt edged chances we made today though tbh. The VAR decision is just the gratuitous smack in the knackers on another very frustrating day

Problem we have now is that if Howe comes out and has a pop then every official will be shit scared of being 'the one' who seems weak and gives us the decisions we deserve in their game. They'll absolutely double down and continue to give us fuck all because they won't want to the one who looks weak and easily manipulated by Howe's comments. And they'll get away with it too as there is zero accountability or scrutiny for these bent cunts

Shall I just sticky this? Make it easier to find during every single fixture?
  5. Need to bare in mind this is the 5th game in about 13 days like (including City and Liverpool), they're bound to be a bit knackered. We badly need this week off and get at least 2 more quality back into the side

    Alexander Isak

Got a feeling Wilson is going to be phased out of the team and squad fairly soon, his fitness issues and the fact he can only really play in 1 position means even if he is fit he isn't no.1 choice in that position. Isak needs to start every game, preferably up top and the RW position will be sorted in January or next summer. Wilson's role will be off the bench whenever he's fit. I like him but it looks like the writing is on the wall for him imo.
  7. Don't normally do cards but picked out Gordon, Elliott and Coady at 120/1, fuck it
  8. Hope they all kick the utter fuck out of each other. 0-0 and finish 7 men a piece please, 5 stretchered off

Wonder what % of the ticket price goes back into NUFC?? Given the absolutes they throw around when it comes to money going to the Saudis then you wonder what they'll make of any Sunderland fans buying ticket and attending. or will it be totally fine? hmmmm
  10. Never, ever been bothered by how others see us and how popular we might be, couldn't give a fucking toss what they think. Just want my team to be as good as it possibly can be and there's not a single thing wrong with what Howe has said, we've already been on the rotten end of several decisions this season and just pushing it out there into people's subconscious is completely fair game. There's a line obviously, thinking Rafa's FACT rant for example which went too far and he got slated for it. Bringing it up in a presser is spot on, he was very dignified after the swindle on Wednesday night when he could have been forgiven for booting off big style.
  11. Big 9. Not perfect but as good as we had a right to expect. The squad is being transformed and adding 3 or 4 players directly into the first XI is exactly what I wanted. Shouldn't go unnoticed that much of the deadwood has been convinced to move on, that's a hell of a job in itself, especially when they're nearly all dropping down a division or 2
  12. The dirty fucking pervert even uses powdered pancake batter
  13. Sets a precedent tbh. It's fucking toothless and they know it
  14. 'big' - important? or 'big' - hold on to your hats?
  15. Absolutely this. The team and squad is unrecognisable and there is no conceivable outcome whereby I'm disappointed at 11pm. The only negative side to the entire window is losing Dubravka but every single other signing has been spot on. Even including the January window, Wood was a poor buy but even then you could make a very decent argument that the team functioned better with him in and the rise from 19th when he signed to 11th at the end of the season contributed a large slice of the £25m. Think it went from about £3.6m up to £25.7m or very close in merit payments. Anyone having a pop later on tonight might need to reflect on just how far we've come in 12 months tbh
  16. In other words - "please keep watching SSN, retweeting and sharing this"
  17. This bloke has more restraint in his little finger than I've got in my entire body. If someone had shoved a mic in front of me at 10.20 last night I'd had said things that would have got me arrested and a lifetime ban from management. Still absolutely fucking fizzing right now and I'm deliberately not looking at a few threads as it's not good for my mood I'm trying to look for the positives - where we were a year ago, pushing them all the way (for 98 minutes), away from home and without 3 or 4 big players etc but then that burning sense of injustice takes over again. I'm just trying to store it away for use in the near future. Feeling this robbed and cheated can/will be turned into a huge positive in the next few months and years by Howe. Chin up and focus on Palace now, fucking unleash it all on Saturday afternoon

Championship CMs currently rubbing their paws together with glee Almost certainly a technically good player but I think he's in for a bit of a shock
  19. I'd agree, he's a lovely player and a huge upgrade on Longstaff etc. He seems to have dropped off a little in the last 18 months or so at Leicester for whatever reason, they'll know better than us, but if he's going fairly cheaply then I'd like to think we're at least interested. Even if he got the inhaler upgrade at Liverpool then I don't think he's what they're looking for either. Bellingham tick Liverpool's box perfectly as much as it pains me to say it.
  20. The combined ages of Henderson, Milner, Thiago and Fab is 127. Even Keita is 27. They need younger legs in there at some point in the very near future and don't think Tielemans ticks their boxes
  21. Honestly don't know mate but that's not the point imo. We were one of the ones that did but now we don't, we've given that reliability up and Man U now have the luxury and we have the problem. I want what's best for my club and couldn't really give a fuck about any others. I'm going to leave it now as I think I've made my point and some will disagree which is absolutely fine. I just think it's a needless risk we're taking for minimal benefit. No-one wants an injury to Pope but if we need to rely on Darlow for any prolonged period of time then he'll cost us goals, games, points and positions. We now need to keep our fingers crossed until May and we shouldn't be in that position imo
  22. Yes. Obviously. No. I'd rather have reliable cover at GK, it's a key position and we had finally cover there for the first time in decades. And now we haven't - for the sake of a couple of million quid.
  23. Looks good. Wonder how much the Madrid council are paying for it?
