  1. Aye, it's inevitable. Not if it’s locked...
  2. I think Ashley knows he can't, and absolutely will not, match Rafa's ambition for the club. One party wants the absolute best for the club and is going public in challenging Ashley do it. Ashley wants the bare minimum spend to survive, this season genuinely is the long goodbye, and the most annoying aspect of it all will be seeing Rafa's replacement being handed fucking millions to spend because he'll, whoever he is, will be vastly inferior to Benitez and he'll need to buy his way to survival rather than manage, organise and coach his team like Rafa does.
  3. If that 42 million was matched with around the same in TV money we'd probably be looking at a very exciting season ahead. It's a pisstake. Absolutely. Just trying desperately to see it from Ashley's point of view. He'll think. "hang on, you've raised 40m+ from players who didn't even figure in the team that finished 10th last year. I've let you spend that 40m making that team even better so went do I need to give you more?" The idea of actually 'investing' doesn't even cross his mind. Just get by, do just enough to survive, squeak through, cross your fingers, hope 3 teams are worse, spend in January if absolutely necessary etc. We've been here time and time again with this cunt. He needs to fucking do one or fucking die
  4. 22m or more for a player who was never going to feature for us this season is decent going. It's basically free money and if the whole lot is spent buying someone who will contribute to the team then it's fair play. Moving on Merino, Sels, Mbemba and Mitrovic for about 42m is good going. Their contribution last season was virtually nil. The annoyance is the fact that the owner sees that 42m as enough to get by on.
  5. Knowing Wulbert I know every word he's said there is true. To some it may sound like a bit of a line, a cheap gag and a pisstake. It's not. It's soooooo fucking not a joke.

That's even worse then. A single random choosing that is bad enough, if thousands have taken the time and effort to select that heap of fucking dogshit it's absolutely lifting. Couldn't be more embarrassing for them collective.

So the bloke who created that XI has supported his team for half a century and still picks Kevin Ball, Phil Beardsley and Gary fucking Bennett as the best he's ever seen? Wow, it's hideous beyond belief

    Matz Sels

Again, shifting on players who aren’t going to make any contribution to the squad or team seems to be the key. Essentially swapping Sels for Dubravka is another great bit of business. Was never going to work out for Sels once he got dropped and everyone involved needed him to move on. Utterly forgettable player who never appeared often enough to warrant any other emotion that apathy.

Hard to find fault with Mbemba out and Schar in whilst turning a few million profit in the process when you look at it in isolation. Mbemba wasn't going to make any contribution this season realistically and this lad almost certainly will, in some ways he's like an extra free player. The lad hasn't had any say in the low fee and he's presumably buzzing at the move and every single one of us want him to settle and do well. That said, it's fucking pathetic that we need to sell to buy first. It's a ridiculous situation to be in and complete bullshit. Pleading poverty while the rest of the other clubs in the top flight go and get the players they want to push on. They want to progress, they want to get better and they're prepared to spend to so it. With us everything is just "that'll do". Absolutely fucking sick of it man.

Money in the till, happy days. That’s what football is all about.
  11. Hope it's his fucking last one. Cunt.

You're only saying that cos he's English. Fool.

    Isaac Hayden

The fact he's put a transfer request in suggests he's probably genuine about wanting to leave to get back down south. He could have moaned and twisted in the press about but the fact he's done it by the book is fair enough. Don't think he's quite good enough for where we are or where we would like to go though. No axe to grind with him, hope he finds a good club, plays regularly and develops as a player, he needs to play every week. Anything north of 5 or 6 million is tremendous.

    Transfer rumours

Deadline for season ticket renewals is still tomorrow, yeah? Sure these are completely unrelated. Wish I wasn't so cynical but he puts out what they want us to read.

Decent signing for the squad, not sure if he's good enough to move the club up the table. At least he's cheap though, that's the main thing....

Players and agents never stop talking to each other and it's telling that only a handful of the entire squad want to stay. They'll be telling their mates at other clubs what goes on there and what is like, yeah some will go there if enough money is offered but he's already painted himself into a corner by telling every cunt the players don't want to be there but they won't budge on their valuations. So they'll sit tight and have to play for a club the chairman has told the world they don't want to play for. He needs to shut the fuck up and just sort the mess he's willingly inherited out.

Why is he being so open and telling the whole world every single detail of their situation? I mean you can admire his openness on the one hand but it's surely going to backfire? Players, managers and agents will all read that and it can't be helping things? They've spilled their financial guts for all to see and they'll be shafted as a result. They're bluffing and they're still haemorrhaging cash to the extent they're borrowing more money already. Football wise they should still really get promoted but the club is still fundamentally fucked.

Bet his old teachers are so proud of him...
  19. He probably had so many offers her didn't know which one to pick so he just retired. Went through 3 new front doors as various chairmen up and down the land beat them down. He's fucking pathetic. He can't even retire properly the hideous cunt.

The arrogance is off the dial like, it's hilarious. Also easy to forget that anything other than winning the league will equate to the lowest finishing position in the history of the club. They're in the brink of watching a season of third division football and the worst season ever and they couldn't be more bullish, its amazing

Could that be the Xmas fixtures? Suspected as much. Seemed the obvious time to do it.

They’re at that stage where they all want it to happen so badly that the only reason for posting about it is purely to convince each other that it definitely WILL work purely because they WANT it to. No negative thoughts are allowed, no critical thinking, no one is allowed to doubt or even question the new regime. That way that can just automatically assume the best possible scenario is the one that’s about to transpire. Let the cunts get on with it. It’ll be even funnier if/when it comes crumbling down.
  23. Remember people being in absolute awe of Schmeichel's long throws when he first burst onto the scene. He could release the likes of Giggs really quickly and set up attacks from nothing. Coupled with his outrageous ability to get himself looking huge on a one on one and his ability to organise his back 4 he was outstanding. I'd even go so far as to say he probably revolutionised the position and how's its played.
